The breakfast was excellent! We opted for the island spice french toast and it was exceptional. We did come on the last day before they were going on holidays, they ran out of bread, so they offered to make it with a different bread than normal. Was delicious and I can only imagine how even more delicious it would have been on the proper bread. I liked how it also came with some nice fruit :
This is our favourite restaurant. We live out in Pritchard, but our trips to Kamloops are always so worth it when we visit the Jamaican Kitchen for lunch! The food is great value for money, consistently delicious, full of flavor, cooked to perfection and the portion sizes are great! The service is always fast, fantastic and friendly. There is something on the menu for everyone, including great vegan options. Highly recommend! Parking: There is a parking lot next to the restaurant.
Came here for my first Jamaican food experience and wasn't disappointed. Had the chicken roti which was perfectly spiced, and was a large portion size. Service was fast and friendly and prices were decent. The only complaint I have is that there were a lot of flies that I had to keep swatting out of the way. Other than that, this experience was perfect. It was my first time eating Jamaican food and definitely not my last! Parking: Parking lot in back of restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food. I've been there 5 times in the last 2 months and can't get enough. I raise goats and buy their wet marinade to season it. I've never seen my husband enjoy my cooking so much. I've also never had anything but top notch service.
It was our first time trying the Jamaican Kitchen and we were not disappointed! Probably the best breakfast I've had in Kamloops. The patio is beautiful and we will definitely be back. So many great and affordable options on the menu. We got the Canadian Breakfast with French toast and the Jamaican Skillet
The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly. Fruit was fresh and everything was pipping hot when it got to the table.
Amazing find and authentic taste. Stopped by while driving through the town but would definitely revisit. Very friendly hostess and chef. The food had good flavor and was fresh. Large portion size so come prepared. The chef is vegan so he has added some vegan dishes which was a rare find.
Check out the one star reviews. Check out the amazing responses from the owner. Now that we've got that out of the way, my first experience was today with takeout. This is some of the tastiest, well prepared food I've ever had. Never had Jamaican food before, and thanks to Jamaican Kitchen I now want to try every dish I possibly can. Perfectly cooked chicken breast in my Jerk Chicken lunch, with coconut rice and peas. The vegetable ensemble could convince the pickiest of eaters to love vegetables. Why the hell are you still reading this and not going to Jamaican Kitchen to eat their amazing food for yourself?! Go on! Get out there!
My first time at Jamaican Kitchen thanks to my daughter’s recommendation. I had lunch, chicken curry & vegetable soup and jerk chicken & bacon wrap! Best lunch or meal I’ve had in a long time! Soup was fantastic, spicy, lots of veggies & the most tender chicken. The wrap was equally delicious, moist chicken, bacon & the addition of avocado was fantastic. Incredible meal & incredible chefs!
Simple yet delicious. I had the $15 lunch special which included jerk chicken, curried chicken, salad and Johnny cake. For the price I can’t think of a better meal I’ve had in a long time. The jerk chicken alone was one of the best things I e ever eaten. Service was fast and friendly, the entire experience top notch.
