We had a great lunch there. Their bread was good and came warm. We had beef tartare and scallop as starters. Delicious. I had cauliflower for my main, I wish it had a bit more sauce to give a bit more flavor as the sauce was really delicious. Fish of the day was fresh and nicely presented. A little bit pricey. I think if you come without a lot of expectations, sit under their transparent roof, drink wine and just take it easy then this place gives out pretty good relaxed vibe
I had a wonderful time at this hidden gem in Paris. Lively atmosphere with fresh Parisian air in a charming courtyard. The manager Julian was kind and attentive, the servers were very prompt and helpful. The food was incredible! The pigeon was a masterpiece! The wines incredible. All that and a casual flair without the haughtiness often associated with fine dining. I highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves to eat and drink!
Very good restaurant. Friendly and fast service. Nice environment. High quality products cooked perfectly and at a very reasonable price I would say that even low price. They have terrace and indoor with two different areas. Great experience. Totally and highly recommended!!!
Was recommended by a restaurant nearby which was full, however the food was surprisingly not so eatable while being expensive. I ordered the potato salad as starter, the potato was still hard and felt cooked in a hurry, not to mention I chewed sand out of the mussels inside, and it was extremely salty. For the main dish we ordered lamb and pigeon, quite pricey, both of them were served few minutes after order, I appreciated the speed but the meat was literally undercooked, you could see from the color and it was impossible to chew. I guess it was good quality meat, but it’s not the reason to serve it almost raw, especially without asking the guests for the preferred cooking level, very unprofessional for a restaurant in this price range. End up not eating much from the dishes, it was obvious for the waiter, and he tried to talk to the manager who obviously seems quite arrogant about their food, it must be our bad to not appreciate their raw meat. To avoid!
Simple and elegant dishes. The food was elevated and simply delicious. The ingredients were very fresh and perfectly cooked. Spent time with the owner after the meal to talk about his work and learned about the sustainability angle of the restaurant which made me enjoy it even more. All locally sourced and a focus on minimizing impact. Highly recommend.
Exceptionally bad experience. The food arrived surprisingly fast to the table, both the lamb and the pigeon we ordered was super rare. The potato salad starter was extremely salty and undercooked as well. The waiter was kind of nice but seems not professional at all, he was not familiar with the menu and was quite awkward. The prices are also quite high. If you like your meat extra rear, you might enjoy, otherwise not recommended.
I had neutral expectation for this restaurant after reading not-so-great reviews about its service but the service was good! The service staff was nice and prompt : the food were great too! Scallops were nicely cooked, love the pumpkin risotto & veal. Def recommend this restaurant :
We had a fantastic time at Jaja. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and had good knowledge of the wine list. We fortunately got a table outside in the cosy courtyard which was a really great surprise and felt very authentic and charming. The food and wine was absolutely delicious, so over all a beautiful dinner in Paris. Thank you Jaja, we’ll be back!
Hidden gem tucked away in a busy shopping street with a quaint little courtyard. Delicious food, friendly service, just what we wanted for lunch. We had the scallops, monkfish and pork which were well cooked, and tuna tartare seasoned to perfection. Will come back.
Nice restaurant with the possibility to get a table for baby. Useful for family with kids . They also have a special menu for kid 15€ only. Otherwise the food is good! I recommend to go for lunch as it is cheaper. They have a menu of 25€ for lunch with 3 courses.
