This is a great spot to observe airplanes taking off or landing. There are several planes landing or taking off every couple of minutes. Lots of families, especially with kids, that are running and playing around very cute!. Please note, that the food is strictly forbidden to avoid attracting birds and cause an air crash. There is no playground for kids with swings or slides, there is just a hill, seats. green grass and planes. Lovely place!
This park is an aviation enthusiast's dream! Located near the airport, it offers an incredible view of airplanes taking off and landing. The park has designated viewing areas with benches and information boards, providing fascinating insights into different aircraft. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the mesmerizing sight of planes soaring through the sky. Whether you're a plane enthusiast or simply looking for a unique experience, this park is a must-visit!
This place was really good! My children really wanted to come so i did and the i saw what they mean’t. The views are insane
It is simply amazing! It is one of the best parks in Montreal Island. You can take a rest, chill in front of the runway and enjoy the take off, and landing of the planes at YUL Airport nI highly recommend this park, especially during the sunset time
Best plane spotting place in Montreal to watch planes take off and land. There is a small hill which allows plane spotters to take pictures of planes over the fence, which is super nice. There is a board at the park entry showing which types of planes land and take off from Montreal, and how they look like. A few advices before deciding to go to this park: watch the weather in advance, don't go there on a windy day, the hill is in altitude you will get cold; i recommend going there during the week, the airport is more active and you have more international flights in the weekend it's mainly Air Canada with A220s, Dash-8s, etc; for plane spotters, you don't need any specific very zoomed lens, i personally think that 250mm is perfect for this airport photos taken with a Canon 55-250mm lens; if you want to go plane spotting, i recommend going early in the day, when the sun reflects on the visible part of the plane, otherwise you will end up with pictures of underexposed planes.nHope this review is good, have fun!
