Welcome this new pastry boutique to newmarket area. Appreciate their courage to start a business during the pandemics. This adds an important variety to the area. I ordered a HK style egg waffle. The owners are generous in using eggs. They are also attentive in preparing the waffles. The thick part of the waffle is spongy. The thin part is crispy. This gives me a rich texture experience. The waffle is not very sweet. Appreciate. The owners also give us and other customers some samples of their ice cream. They are very generous. I tried cheesecake ice cream. Very soft and tasty. All the best to this new local business.
Cute little dessert boutique in Newmarket Picked up a few desserts for a dinner party and all 3 were absolutely fabulous The 2 cheesecake ones in particular were tremendous. I sliced each one into quarters so we were able to share and try them all w/o getting too full Store owners were friendly, helpful and professional. Packaging was also on point This doesn’t go unnoticed Can’t wait to try the gelato and macarons next time
We saw this new local dessert shop on FB and decided to come give it a try! The shop is very new, bright and clean. The owners, Peter and Monica, are very welcoming and friendly. They introduced their products, which include a wide variety of macarons, special and Asian flavored gelatos takeout flavors: Hojicha, HK milk tea, Viet coffee, durian, taro, pistachio, honeydew, taro, hazelnut chocolate, etc etc, mini cakes and HK egg waffles. We tried their HK egg waffles, which was hot and crispy we ate it right away in the car. Not too sweet. Perfect afternoon dessert. We also got their To-go gelato tubs they come in small and large size: one durian and one Vietnamese coffee. They are both very creamy, smooth and full of flavor! We will definitely be back to try out other gelato flavors and their macarons. Looking forward to more soft serve flavors in the summer time! So lucky to have them in our neighborhood!
By Jacob - A new gelateria in Newmarket which also sells some delicous and beautifully crafted pastries and desserts. I copped a few items for my sons birthday Vanilla Bean Cake, Raspberry Vacherin, Ulitmate Lemon Dream Cake, 10 Macarons, Pandan Gelato and Blood Orange Gelato. We destroyed the macarons caramel and blueberry being our favs and got through vanilla bean cake and a few scoops of the gelatos. Super happy to have another dessert option only 10 mins away. While ordering, I met Peter the owner. He's a very personable guy and passionate about what he does. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to open up a new business during the pandemic. By Jacob was amazing - clean and modern, super friendly service and the BEST macarons and pastries I’ve had in a long time. This is a stand-out place in Newmarket with reasonably priced treats, but most of all they have Asian flavoured gelato and macarons that you won’t find anywhere north of the GTA. Vietnamese coffee, thai milk tea, and lychee rose both in gelato and macarons! were fantastic. Bought all three flavours of the Paris Brest black sesame, pistachio and hazelnut and they were fluffy and delicious. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!!
Found this place in FB and in the neighbourhood, so giving this place a try.. Looks like it’s a dessert place and they also sell gelato. The place looks very new and clean vibe and the lady owner at the counter is very friendly! So we focus in the Gelato this time. There are lots of Gelato places in Aurora/Newmarket area but I think this place is probably the only place in the area that offer Asian flavour, eg. Viet coffee, HK milk tea, Pandan, Hojicha, and even Durian! For Durian, u need to ask for it, it’s not in the freezer u see. My wife just ask for Durian flavour out of curiosity and they say they do have it and actually just made some Durian flavour recently, such luck. Lol ! Thumbs up for all these flavour! The Gelato is creamy and has the strong flavour as the labelled one, like Pandan, HK milk tea, and viet coffee that we tried. It’s just a little bit on the sweet side for my palette but it is still good enough for me to go again and try other Gelato flavour! According to the owner, they are just opened for 2-3 weeks so let’s continue to support local business! I for sure will go back again for more Gelato!
The macarons were excellent really liked the vietnamese coffee and black sesame ones. The gelato was also very good black sesame was my favourite. Egg waffles were fresh and tasty. Will be back soon to try more.
Friendly staff. Gelato flavours are unique, rotate regularly and you'll always find a flavour you'll enjoy. They also package small tubs for those who want to take it home. Haven't tried the cakes yet but already know which one I want to try next visit.
Went there on Saturday to purchase some macarons for a party. I did not realize they did not open until 1pm. They saw me leaving and came out to the parking lot to see what I needed. They let me come in and make my purchase and they were the best macarons I have ever had. Everyone at the party raved about them and I will definitely go back.
I have been here a few times with my family. Tried a few things. Funnel cake with soft serve and hk bubble waffles were very good. Definitely recommend. I also tried the biscoff gelato and bought some other flavours home. They were quite a bit of a disappointment! The taste was great but it was grainy and as I was eating I couldn’t understand what were these small pieces of flakes in the gelato, until at the end I did actually figured out it was over churred, they were small pieces of butter flakes. Even the one that I bought home had small amount of butter flakes but not as excessive. I hope they improve the standard.
