I really enjoyed how flavourful their fried chickens are. Whether it is in the burger or by itself, it had strong flavours and tasted great. I however was not a big fan of their sauces. I tried both the honey mustard and their Jack sauce, they both had strong flavours but it just wasn't for me. Another aspect of the chicken that made me not like it as much as I hoped was probably the crispiness of the chicken. I don't know if it was because it was a delivery, but the chicken's exterior was just not crispy at all. It would have been so much better in my opinion because the crispiness would add a different texture to the tender meat. Overall, it was pretty enjoyable. The portions were reasonable for the price and the food is pretty filling.
Let’s start with the negative. Called to place an order for pickup because online ordering isn’t currently available for this location. The woman that answered the phone asked me to hold. I was placed on hold and ended up just hanging up because she never returned. This is very rude and is the main reason that I am giving this review a 3 star. If I didn’t want to try this new place so bad, her action would have cost the restaurant my $70 order. That said, the spicy chicken is spicy so be warned, but it’s really good. We tried 2 different chicken burgers and they were both really good. The chicken tenders were crispy and good but we didn’t get any sauce. The onion rings were perfect and probably my new favourite. The final item we ordered was the max & cheese. It’s thick but good. One recommendation I would make is that it needs breadcrumbs. That would put this max & cheese to the next level and would probably sell better. Overall we all enjoyed our meal. I’d say try it. I still can’t get over the name. Think about it.
Hello Grand slam ! Best onions rings ever!! Served piping hot & super crispy not oily. The batter tastes great . As for the chicken tenders also great , juicy inside & tender , crackling crust also served piping hot . Dipped in Jack sauce ,delicious Just don't be in a rush everything was prepared while waiting but really worth the wait . Place is super clean , the owner / manager excellent customer service . The place was super busy at 7.00 pm On a Sunday Ample parking at Mail Champlain. Staff friendly Will repeat
The store has a cute interior design with pinky and neon lights. Their fried chicken and burger are good, but my favorite is their friesFood: 4/5
We ordered the fried chicken family pack for at Jack Le Coq, which came with 8 pieces of fried chicken, fries, and gravy. Additionally, we also purchased two chicken burgers: the "miel" and the "buffalo." The total cost $72! While the miel burger was a bit too sweet for my taste, my wife enjoyed it. The buffalo burger, on the other hand, was both tasty and spicy, making for a great meal. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and moist on the inside - and the gravy was flavorful and well-made. However, the food was a bit on the salty side and slightly expensive. Despite this, it's great to have a fried chicken option on the south shore. That being said, the wait time for our takeout order was quite long - it took over 30 minutes, and they even skipped our number by two before we received our order. Overall, while the food was delicious, the service needs to improve for a more enjoyable experience.
I don’t know at what point we as people should just be completely outraged by the price of everything. I ordered fries, 4 chicken tenders, a regular Mac and cheese and a regular corn. I will add a photo of the size that the corn and Mac and cheese came in. With tax each one came to almost 5$. 5$ for two bites of each. Is this a joke? I eat out often and make a ton of reviews. What’s the profit margin on this? The cheese had no flavour. The macaroni was awful. The corn had butter but also, no flavour. What an absolute rip off. You can spend 10$ at the grocery store and feed a family of 6 with the amount of Mac and cheese you could make. I’m truly disgusted by literally all these businesses and grocery stores making the cheapest food so expensive. Will never return.
Absolutely go here. Chicken was perfect temperature and tender, breading was crunchy and tasty better than KFC easily. Onion rings were crisp and fresh. Poutine was pretty good, very fresh too. Mac n cheese was surprisingly delicious. Definitely worth the price! Staff was very friendly, helpful, patient, and bilingual. Restaurant interior was very clean, and the aesthetic is very nice pale toned look that gives off a 50s diner vibe a bit while also feeling like an early 90s fast food place. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are likely limited to things like poutine and mac n cheese.
Had a take away from here and loved it. The crisp is intense. Mac and cheese portion is a little small and average but the chicken is great. I will be back.Food: 5/5
Our first time at Jack! I had the buffalo! It was fresh and spiceyyy and delicious My hubby had the double double and really liked it too! Time to burn the calories at the gym now hahaFood: 5/5
Was excited to try the first halal chicken restaurant in brossard and i can say i left satisfied! Its a great environment with a fantastic staff commited to making your experience as good as it can be. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a little dry, but dipping it in sauce fixed that problem. The red chicken tenders were very good but i reccomend getting the regular ones. They have a wide variety of choices and an overall great menu. The jack Classic was definitely the best item we tried today! Definitely worth giving a shot!
