The terminal offers a bright, spacious, and welcoming atmosphere surrounded by greenery, trees, and stunning lake views. It's ideal for families, walking, and a variety of outdoor activities. The scenery alone—water, nature, and open skies—makes it worth the visit.nnThe boarding process is well-organized, especially for those who purchase tickets online in advance. Facilities are clean and signage is clear, which makes navigation easy for first-time visitors. Everything feels neat and well-maintained.nnWhile the experience is enjoyable, it’s worth noting that during peak hours weekends and summer days, the terminal can get quite crowded, and lineups may be long. Also, parking is not directly on-site, which may require a short walk from nearby lots.nnOverall, it's a pleasant and well-managed gateway to the Toronto Islands, perfect for nature lovers and anyone looking to escape the city for a day.
Line was moving fast, prices not bad. About $10 for return trip. A bit confusing inside where to go. Online information is better than in person. Ferry times to different Islands etc is better visible online. Also doesn't matter which ferry you take all Islands are connected just walk 30 min between Islands if you want to explore anyway. And return to city is also from any ferry from any of the 3 Islands. Remember to take your bicycle and dog along! Great outing!
I visited the terminal with my family, and it can get really crowded, especially during the summer and even more so on weekends. However, there are some chairs available for people to sit, and the interior is fairly well organized. The ferry schedule isn’t always perfectly on time, but it’s usually close enough.nnTaking the ferry is a great way to reach the islands and enjoy a beach-like space in Toronto. Hanlan’s Point is clothing-optional, which is something to keep in mind. I didn’t notice many food options available, so this time I’m heading to Ward’s Island instead.nnThe view from the ferry is beautiful, a great opportunity to take photos of Toronto’s skyline, including the CN Tower.
Recommended but can take a long time.nThis was a really nice afternoon out and fairly cheap, the problem is they had an issue with one of the boats s we had to wait in line forever like an extra hour.nSo not really happy about this part.nOtherwise all in all it is a good visit to do and afternoon out.
Pretty organized ferry terminal for the amount of people traveling through here. Def should buy tickets online beforehand to save time at the window. The views of downtown Toronto from wards island is pretty sick. I would suggesting taking the ferry to Wards Island and walking along the boardwalk to Centreville, which takes around 30-40 mins. Although there’s some shades along the broadwalk from the trees, it does get pretty hot hot. It’s definitely a full day affair there.
