We are a playschool that encourages our children to learn through play. We take pride in our Community and immerse our students in its local culture.
Located at 5212 50th Street in Leduc Alberta, the Jack & Jill/Frère Jacques Playschool program has been operation since September 1991. Through the efforts of dedicated parents, it has developed into the existing fun-filled and educational activity time it is today.
We take pride in our Community and immerse our students in its local culture through field trips and guest speakers.
Our curriculum is play based allowing for children to become familiar with their environment through routine and extended learning opportunities. They will learn and practice important language skills through self-taught and guided activities. Our teacher is truly passionate about Early Childhood Education and it is our role to guide students in the transition to independent learning.
We encourage parents to take an active role in their children's education. Through our rostering program parents will get to watch their children learn and grow first hand.
Our program is open to children aged 3 (by October 1) & 4 year olds (by December 31 for new students). Children must be fully potty trained when they start attending classes. Our 3 year old classes run two days a week (Tuesday/Thursday) and our 4 year old classes run three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 9am - 11:30 and 12:15- 2:45.
