I gave it two stars because some things were ok. We ended up waiting awkwardly at the window for 13 minutes, while the staff hung out chatting and wearing earbuds, before what I assume was a manager came and yelled that we had been waiting for our order. The sourdough jacks weren't toasted, but the fries and vanilla coke were ok.
Looks like I am having the same experience as some other folks. Ordered a sourdough jack and they didn’t even bother to grill the sandwich. Literally put cold bread on it. That along with cold french fries made for a very dissatisfying meal. And of course no one is picking up the phone in the restaurant when you try to call back. They just lost a customer. I waited 15 minutes for this? Unacceptable. And according to previous 1 start reviews, the “owner” says they will address the issues. Well, they haven’t because the same exact problems are still occurring. Unprofessional, slow and improperly prepared or not prepared at all. **EDIT** The canned response to my rating and complaint is the reason this problem will continue at this particular restaurant. Obviously, they just don’t care to seriously address these issues. That is apparent in the fact that the SAME complaints are voiced months and months later by other customers. What a shame. Perhaps once the “bottom line” ie. $$$$ is affected it will bring about some positive change.
Went there for dinner one night and the food was pretty good. Got a Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger Meal and a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger. However, the one working the drive through was very rude. She was very, very rude. Didn't ever say any niceties or anything, even though we were very, very kind. It was at around 5 o'clock and though there were no cars in the drive until about a minute before we left, they had two people parked and tried to park us as well. Even though there was no reason to as our food finished not even a minute after. Parking: Good number of spots and a good drive thru. Dietary restrictions: Has vegan options like salads
I have never been one to go out of my way to really leave any kind of feedback for an establishment but I have been seeing this location struggle for several years. How they are continuing business is so far beyond me in ways I don't think I can comprehend. Countless times I have had to wait 20-30 minutes in a parking spot so they can bring an order out. This has made me late on some occasions. I would not consider this fast food. Another thing is the quality of the food. I have tried ordering something common from the menu only to be told they don't have it. Today I arrived there around 9am which is not a usual time I would ever go there and half my food was inedible as it looked like it was thrown together by a six year old in a hurry. There was literally nobody in the drive through or lobby and I still had to wait and extra five or so minutes because the system had to reboot or something. I don't want a heartfelt response from Jack in the box. I have read through the other reviews and you can only sympathize with your customers so much. Something needs to be done. If you can't afford to pay for quality workers then you are tarnishing a quality community with your really low standards as a highly rated franchise. That being said, I can't even blame the workers in the store. They are all obviously fresh out of high school with zero experience and not enough training. This is a huge reflection on upper management for not providing adequate training and incentives for quality workers who might actually want to be at the job. I love jack in the box but I don't like this one in particular. Tired of being disappointed. *update..... I HAD TO GO IN THE NEXT DAY TO GET MY DEBIT CARD BACK
Do not make an online order! I ordered on November 18th at 9:15pm. When I arrived at 9:25 to pick it up, the restaurant was as closed, even though the sign on the door and their own website said they close at 10pm. My credit card was charged and I have been trying to get a refund for 5 weeks now. Terrible, terrible customer service. Edited to add - I submitted tickets to the heyjackbox website twice Nov. 23 and Dec. 04. Nobody contacted me.
Honestly, this place doesn't deserve any stars. Out of all the fast food places in the area, this is the only place that takes 30 minutes to make your meal. My lunch is only 30 minutes, so there is no point in every stopping by this place again. Not to mention, there is always some issue. Like today, it was cash only.
I want to thank the Manager and his staff for such a great experience. I placed a very large order and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. The staff was very professional to deal with.
Having stopped to get gasoline for the car, we also needed to get something for our stomachs, something to drink, and. Of course, to go to the bathroom. I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat, so I let my daughter order for me. I went Austin bathroom color and when I came out, I found out that she had ordered me some loaded fries--steak variety. This was a relatively new item on the menu, so I was a bit surprised. I looked at it and I saw a bucket of fries covered with cheese and avocado. The fries were very cheesy. The top had plenty of avocado on top of them also, there was a fair amount of steak as well. I thought, it looks like a delicious mess. After eating the drowning French fries, I was very happy, happy because my stomach was full and my taste buds were smiling. All kidding aside, I did enjoy their fries. The bathrooms at Jack's, were clean. See photos below. The bathrooms were well stocked, and everything looked freshly cleaned. There is a handicap stall in the restroom, as well as handicap parking outside. Likewise, in the dining area, everything looked clean and the tables looked presentable. The décor is modern and appropriate. The toilet facilities mentioned above, were clean, but also have access for mothers to change diapers.
I can really do without the paper straws. Most other chains went with the plant based or compostable straws. The paper ones are gross, dissolve in your mouth, stick to your lips, and alter the flavor. Why is JITB still stu k on stupid with those?Food: 5/5
I don't have a problem paying 5$ for curly fries however please change your cooking oil....not appetizing with old tasting oil.Food: 1/5
