J2 - Sneakerbox

I purchased a black coat jacket from Sneakerbox Metrotown for $295 a couple of months ago and Zara has the SAME jacket for sale for $149. FOR THE SAME JACKET!!! I approached the staff at Sneakerbox today, hoping to exchange the same value for something else in store, but I was told that I couldn't exchange the item and there was nothing they could do because I bought the item more than 2 weeks ago. Be careful guys, shop somewhere else because THIS SHOP IS A RIP OFF!

**DO NOT SHOP HERE** The Nike shoes I bought were knockoffs. I googled this store and saw all the reviews about how they don't offer refunds and that a lot of their products are not authentic. I was not notified by staff that returns are store credit only. Read all the reviews before you think about shopping here. If you have been scammed by Sneakerbox, file a chargeback with your credit card company and report this shady business to the Better Business Bureau

I tried to buy a pair of shoes here New Balance 550 but they told me their policy is they cannot sell me the shoes unless I also buy a piece of clothing additional $100+. Strongly disagree with this policy and not a place I would spend money or do business.

Came into the store just to check it out but I was very pleased to be greeted right upon arrival with an awesome playlist to the point I took both my headphones out! Also was greeted in a professional manner by Kingsman! hope I got his name right. He was very informative as I was a little indecisive and didint know if I wanted to buy anything but he ended up leading me right to what I actually wanted! Was VERY nice hard to come by in this city and did the best he could to give me the best service possible! If you come to this store would highly recommend speaking with this gentleman! 10/10 definitely would come back for the experience if I had more money!

In a world where customer service has died, I had a great experience here....as a 50 year old person. Both the Park Royal and Metrotown shops were excellent. Both my daughter and I exchanged Christmas gifts. Top, top service when I usually expect a difficult experience. Thank you!

I tried on a few pairs, as I wasn't sure what would fit my summer outfits switching to shorts mode, but the person who helped me was really patient and helpful. Very happy with my purchase and will be back again

WARNING DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. We bought a hoodie for a friend and we asked specifically what their return policy was, and asked for a gift receipt as well as an original copy. The cashier stated that we had 14 days to return the product. The cashier said NOTHING about the return being credited with STORE CREDIT. We went back after a few days expecting a cash refund and the same cashier stated that they couldn't do anything because the manager couldn't do anything about their deceitful and misleading store policy. DON'T EVER ORDER FROM HERE, read the other reviews as well.

Worst staff and experience ever. Go to any other sneaker store.

THIS STORE SELLS FAKE CLOTHING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Reading the past reviews after my own experience at sneaker box Burnaby I can see they have been operating this way for years. I have read almost identical reviews to my experience. I bought what I was led to believe by the sales person to be Essentials fear of god by Jerry Lorenzo. I even mentioned that was what I was looking for and they said this was it. I only found out is was a knockoff after I talked to someone from Nordstrom. Upon discovering this I contacted the store and the sales person told me I was unable to get a refund for this counterfeit product and that since I was from out of province and they don’t have an online store I was going to be stuck with the items. I left my name and number and was told I would be contacted by the manager 2 days passed no response. I went back to the store several times and left several emails with the corporate account to no response. This went on for 2 weeks. I finally went to the store for a 5th time to speak with the manager Kingsley Cheung. But just as previous reviews described he cowardly hid in office as he was on a "zoom meeting": He refused to come out and had his young employees deal with the issue in order to avoid a return. It was only when we threatened to call security did he finally come out of the office in an attempt to play the victim and manipulate the situation. The security guards noted that they were not surprised as this was not the first time this store has had an issue like this. After security we were able to get a full refund. Maybe the first people to do so I strongly encourage to involve if you are looking for a refund. As they will do anything possible to avoid you and keep your money. The lack of integrity and professionalism shown by the manager was utterly pathetic. There are much much better stores to go to with better products and much friendlier staff in Metrotown such as The Lab right across from booster juice.

I have purchased from this place multiple times. Selection is vast although sizing is usually limited for people with bigger feet. For those worried about complaints about customer service, I have had no issue. The staff are informed and friendly, and will not hesitate to help you although I can't say the same about the employees at their main store J2. Nearly every time I visit the store, there is this one guy working that always helps me out. He is an excellent salesman that always lets me know everything about a garment or piece I am interested in.
