Great and quiet park! Park was extremely clean and we'll kept. Have ice and firewood at the park. Is family and pet friendlyas long as you have a leash and short tie-out. Hot water at central bath house with very nice showers. Several hundred yards of lake front. Stone beaches and sand beaches. Nice picnicking areas also.
We love this park. Everything is beautiful and comfortable here!!! Very good playground for kids. Wonderful
It's lovely to see the lake, but having camped here two Labor Days in a row, I do not recommend it over a holiday weekend. There are very loud bells on the playground and the kids ring them all hours of the day and night. Drunken parents screaming at one another. Could use a few more patrols by the DNR. Quiet time doesn't exist.
This is our preferred 1 night campsite for destinations further in the Upper Peninsula being it is just the right halfway point from our home. Easy to get into with most camping rigs. Just check ahead of time as some of the sites get soggy in wet weather. Sites along the lakeshore will have you falling asleep to waves. .
Nice small state park with about 5 miles of trails, 2 beaches, modern and primitive camp sites, and more secluded rustic cabins. Some lower lying areas to get pretty wet/buggy in the summer, but otherwise the park has some nice places with great views of Green Bay
The staff was very nice and made my first camping experience great! The site was beautiful!
My family has come up every year since I was 1! I have always had an amazing time here and my family always recommends this place. Great hosts and clean bathrooms and showers plus activities for all ages of kids! I will always reccomend this place to anyone who asks!!
