This man is a FRAUD! DO NOT USE JIM! First he came to my home with two guys middle age and older job to complete a four day task. The job consist of a kitchen, foyer, family room, upstairs hall , small bathroom, laundry room and panty. Which he told me that he could get done in less than fours days. The last day will be doing touch up. Well on day two they only had two rooms completed with lots of touching up to be done. The third day the middle age guy had a morning appointment and told me that he will be to my home before noon. He didn't show nor did he show up the next day. Called Jim just to be informed that he wasn't going to show and the guy called Jim in advance. He had family issue and there was no backup to complete the job. Keep in mind I had guest coming in and the job was suppose to be completed. I ask for a refund because I paid Jim half. Jim told me the guys can completed the job once the guys family issue was resolved. I ask him when would that be he stayed he didn't know. I have not heard from JIM THE Painter. PLEASE BE WARE!

He's a FRAUD! - "Jim the painter" should be called "Jim the contractor" BEWARE find your own reliable painter and save yourself a good 40-45%. I went with Jim, who was the highest price; because he said he will do the job right. That might be the case, however when all is said and done it will be substantially higher than his original quote because he has no idea how to estimate a job. Maybe it is age, but he never once got on a ladder to estimate a 2 story house. He will take every opportunity to add more costs to the job for items he missed in his original quote. The cost will be much higher than the contract so be prepared to pay more. The only time I saw Jim was the day he collected 50% up front (yes, 50%) and the day he came to pick up the balance. A job that I was told would have a crew of 3-4 people and take 3 weeks ended up taking 6 weeks and a crew of one person (not Jim). He delivers paint to his "crew" of one, a few gallons at a time so the painter was running out before a full day was complete it was like he thought someone would steal the custom color paint. I will put this as blunt as possible: Do not use - JTP Contracting a.k.a. "Jim the painter". The work he did supposedly came with a 12 month warranty. Well the wood started to rot and paint started to peel off after 7 months. I have been calling him since but he never stopped by. He's a liar, fraud, a con artist.
