J&T is the first Japanese sushi and Thai wok place in Cornwall. We offer guests relaxed atmosphere with all-you-can-eat and A la carte menu concentrating on quality ingredients, original and creative dishes. We combine Japanese sushi bar and Thai wok.

I've waited to do a review on this restraunt. I've been her 4 times and the staff have been very attentive to me while here. I have gotten a few things, and the food feels like it's been made fresh. It's not super expensive either. It looks like they make the sushi fresh to order My issue with the business is the layout. When you go in the first part feels like the temperature isn't regulated and so if the sun is out it's very warm. There are a few staff members that I think don't speak English well and that caused some confusion on at least one occasion. I would change my waiting to 5 if they were able to regulate the temperature in the front. Overall, I would keep coming here to eat.

Pretty garbage food.. was absolutely not worth the 80bucks I paid for 4 people. We didn't even eat a lot. The food had no seasoning. The sushi had soy sauce already on it.. what Japanese restaurant does that? Also for some of the food it was fried in hot oil and place right away on our table.. We burnt our mouths.. never again..

Love this place! I have been several buffet sushi places in Ottawa and they are not any better. Friendly staff and yummy food.

Food is good. Service is fast. Lunch menu is a bit limited but dinner menu is really good. Definitely getting your money's worth.

Easy to pass this one by, but think twice. The curb appeal and decor is dated yes, its very quiet (maybe not quaint) but if you are looking for a good meal it's worth stopping in. We used to go to the West Island Montreal places but now drive to Cornwall to J&T instead for a treat. The sushi is excellent, soups are great and the Thai dishes are delicious. All the beef dishes are tender not chewy, and the chicken tastes fresh. The sushi is made to order and very fresh (the Nori is not overly chewy like most AYCE sushi places). Service is quick so you can order a few plates at a time without worry if server will return. I love the teriyaki salmon dish mmm, the martini roll and crazy roll yummy. All you can eat for under 30$. Great hidden gem.
