Thank you to the new team at J.N. Daunais Funeral Home for their professional, warm, and supportive service during this difficult time of bereavement. Ms. Cathleen Hall and Mr. Christian Daunais were always available to provide all the services I needed. Reference: Obituary, Josée-Lise Martel, Ceremony 1 and Ceremony 2nI highly recommend this funeral home to everyone!nnNicole Laplante
Bad room, bad urn, stupid atmosphere, no food or drink allowed. The carpet seemed more important than the grieving people. Worst funeral home ever. And to top it off, during the signing, we were told the deceased's dog was allowed, but an hour and a half into the service, we were asked to take it home the dog was in its carrier and fast asleep. Absolutely no empathy. Never again.
Lack of ethics and professionalism. More focused on money than respect. They allowed a massacre at my mother's funeral. They made a bloodbath.
The funeral home was very beautiful, but while we were waiting to offer our condolences to the family, an employee told us to hurry because there was a long line. Furthermore, I found it very upsetting to have pushed past the grieving family when the priest finished his homily. The last song hadn't even finished when two employees of the funeral home came out with the urn and extinguished the candles. People were left perplexed; they weren't able to pay their last respects to the deceased. An employee took out his garbage bag two minutes after the service and asked the family to leave. The family didn't even have a chance to greet or thank those who had come to pay their last respects to their loved one. They were given 10 minutes to clean up, and one of the employees had the audacity to tell the deceased's daughter that she should just talk to her family at the reception that was being held afterward! This is such an important moment for properly grieving. I felt like they were just a number, not human beings experiencing profound grief. It was very upsetting to have given them their final rest in such a bitter way. This happened at the Lindsay Street complex.
