Went there to get my machine fixed. They said that the little plastic thing was missing but they could fix it either way in a week. One month and 2 calls later, not only was my sewing machine not fixed at all but the needle and needle holder is missing.

Great shop unless you have a problem with what you buy. I love supporting local so I chose to shop here but when a tool they sold me broke in the first week and I brought it in for exchange, the owner told me it was my fault and acted as if I were trying to rob him blind. Mind you, I did not come looking for a refund, but store-credit so the store would retain my business. After a bunch of haggling, I finally got my refund but begrudgingly and being made to feel guilty all the while. I still go here and they have a great selection of products at reasonable prices. I just consider whatever I buy here final sale as I know returns don't seem to be accepted let alone welcomed.

Great sewing accessories and supplies store. Had everything that we needed in one place. Customer service is also great and they were able to answer any and all questions that we had and gave us suggestions and recommendations on what we need.

Got awesome help to create a zipper insert so I could extend my coat by an inch. Knowledgable and friendly service!

The nicest staff! Great selection for a small store, super reasonable prices on items, and they fix zippers and change buttons FAST! Lots of garment dyes, buttons, threads, etc. We must keep them in business no matter what!

I brought my brand new Brother Cover Stitch machine still under warrantee to be repaired because Brother.ca ignored my messages on their web site. Brother Canada doesn't even have a telephone number! Thankfully, J'L is close and repaired my machine with a week! I am very grateful for their excellent customer service!

Good people, friendly, knowledgeable. Support them by shopping for your sewing stuff here, not many businesses like this left in the neighborhood.

Great prices, nice findings buttons, clasps, etc., even great gifts for your sewing friends or family members. Practical as well for non-sewing people... A great little shop. ALWAYS a pleasure!
