A very tasty dosa indeed! The coconut chutney is to die for and the chai tea with milk is one of the best I have ever tasted…so so good! Service was very friendly and efficient! Prices are good! The chicken 65 was a little dry but sometimes that happens. We will be back!

Came here for lunch during the weekend. Instantly seated, and the food came out without much wait. Got the butter chicken dosa for $12—food was flavourful and I was given a good portion for the price very filling. Not a big place, but the family-run atmosphere definitely made it feel cozy and welcoming.

Pro: Quick service, clean interior, freshly prepared, very reasonable price. Tasty food. Staff leave you to eat without asking questions time and time again. Was walking by and happened to spot the happy hour menu. I walked by because I was in a bad mood. A random customer exiting the store told me I should give it a try because the food is good. I turned around and went inside and I am sure glad I did. The sambar is the best I have had so far not watered down like a lot of places make it. The vada is proper authentic! The chai made my day! I will definitely return. On a random note the south Indian music videos they have playing are quite entertaining too.

Delicious dosa's and idly, wada at decent price. Absolutely value for money. Definitely going here again when I'm craving for south indian food. Loved their chutneys and podi.

The place is great. Food is amazing. Went there on a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all. Ordered the Andhra curry dosa and another dosa variety and it was really good. Quantity is also good. The tea and coffee were also good. The staff and owner are all very friendly. Good place for authentic dosas and Andhra food! And street parking available outside

A really filling meal at a reasonable price. One of the better dosa restaurants I have been to. I asked for medium heat and it was actually a medium heat. We were there on a Friday evening and seating was empty and most business was takeout.

We always love coming here for either a quick lunch or dinner. Even when it's a long drive from North Van, it's definitely our favorite place for Indian food and the price is right. Butter chicken, lamb korma, coconut chutney, and all the yummy variety of dosas are so delicious. And we always have so much leftovers to take home. Please don't forget to try the ice cream Kulfi treats in the freezer, we've had the pistachio, mango, and the milk Kulfi's and they are amazing.

Literally one of the best South Indian places. I had the most authentic tasting chicken 65 for here. We tried dosai, podi idli, set dosai, chicken chettinadu. The service is quick!!! Best place to eat fresh dosa! There are many Indian restaurants that serve dosa but JJDOSAI is by far the best place to eat dosas in Vancouver. The batter is made fresh everyday and so are the chutneys that go along with it. I’ve tried ghee roast dosa and rava masala dosa and was impressed with the taste. Served quick and hot. The idli was made fresh too. Also tried the Andhra chicken curry which tasted ok. Will be back again to try more of their dosa varieties. I’d have given a 5star if their tables were cleaned better and proper heating as it was cold inside the restaurant.

JJ dosai is an absolute delight for everyone who craves for the best and the only authentic South Indian cuisine in Vancouver. The flavours of the south are to the point, we were taken back to Tamil Nadu flavours it was so nostalgic. The parotas were so light and fluffy, the gravy was excellent, in short everything is so delicious. This a hidden gem in Vancouver!!!
