We love this place! The couple that run it are so kind and the food is delicious . Butter chicken and rice is my favourite. The wife makes this colourful rice and it's so fluffy. Not on the menu but if you ask nice I'm sure she would make it for you. The pizza is also 5 star. Tons of cheese and no skimping on the toppings.
We ordered three pizza subs and a large two topping pizza for pick up over the phone after looking at their online menu. The first impression when I walked in to pick it up was this place needs some updating and renovations. But with all the five star reviews I wasn't worried at the time. She rang the order in and the prices were not the same as the online menu prices. When I asked her about the prices she said the online menu was two years out of date and prices have gone up. That would've been nice to know before I made the order over the phone but I understand prices do go up. The subs were OK. Toppings were minimal. Mostly bun. I was wondering if there was any cheese on mine and had to look. The pizza was nothing special. My son picked the pepperoni off it because he said it didn't taste very good. Definitely not gourmet. I'll try somewhere else next time.
I don't think their are any nicer two people in all of Burnaby or perhaps Vancouver I've felt like family since the very first day I walked in here two years ago. Pizza is amazing. If there is another butter chicken that tastes as good as their butter chicken please let me know because I've been searching for a year and a half and haven't found a better butter chicken yet. And don't get me started on their beef sub!! Omg roasted beef goodness on a perfectly crusted bun cheese dripping everywhere while u bite into it!!! I love this hidden gem
Very good food, the pizza ingredients are fresh and the crust is perfect. The curry is the best I've had. So tasty, and made by two of the nicest people I've met.
Interesting name for a pizza shop, it caught my eye. I like trying the smaller pizza places. Wow, what a great pizza shop! I ordered a small ham & pineapple and a small deluxe to share over lunch and it was absolutely fantastic! Will definitely be coming back for more!
Pizza is pretty tasty, had many times. I say you cant go wrong with most of the choices but the Herculean was not good, very salty and not a great taste for the pallette. Good lunch specials too. Don't take a date here though cause its an old pizza place with not good ambience, more run down diner vibe. Just get the food to go!
We ordered a medium pizza and it took 20 mins, but really worth waiting. The pizza is stuffed with deliciousness, like Bethooven's music. The woman working there is so friendly and caring. Don't miss it.
We order pizza from here frequently. It's very good, though "gourmet" might be a stretch. The people who own this place are always there, always friendly, and their pizzas are well made and reasonably priced. Happy to recommend them, and those who have had their pizzas with us have been pleased as well.
Nice and hidden. The definition of hole in the wall. Cash only. You can tell that the dough is made in-house and fresh. The owners are polite, accommodating, and friendly. The Michael Buble shrine is an added bonus, of course!
Literally the worst pizza experience I have ever had. We were trying to find a good local pizza place and came upon the positive reviews for this place. I don't know how they are honestly still in business. We ordered three large pizzas, one from their standard menu, one three topping pizza and a five topping one. They wouldn't tell us the price over the phone, which should have been my first clue. When we got their, the woman "pre-warned" us that it was going to be expensive and tried to shove a menu at us in some apparent attempt to justify the price before she even told us how much it was. She had some scribbled prices on a piece of paper and then rang us up for a grand total of $78. SEVENTY-EIGHT dollars. Just going to let that sit for a second. We were obviously immediately thrown off, as the prices on the "website" that somebody's 12 year old clearly made for them in computer class were nowhere near over $25 a pizza. She again tried to justify it by saying that the pizzas were "custom". I guess if you pick your own toppings there is some kind of $10 surcharge? I didn't realize that was a thing. We should have just left, but we had ordered the pizza and we were standing there with a group of people at home who were hungry after helping us move all day. So we paid the woman her ransom and took the pizzas home, joking about how they better be the best pizzas on earth, or made of gold, on the way home. Oh I did also ask for some napkins, and was told they didn't have any because they haven't gone shopping yet. Which is a TOTALLY legitimate and not weird at all thing for a pizza place to say. My guess is that they are still recovering financially from a recent lawsuit after serving this crap to someone else. They probably would have tasted better if they had been made of gold. None of the pizzas were fully cooked. The bottom was brown and in some cases, burnt, but there was a clear layer of raw dough between the bottom and the toppings. Currently, as I type this, the raw dough is balled up in my stomach like a rock. The toppings were mediocre at best, but you couldn't even appreciate them as it was because of the raw dough and the awkwardly crunchy bottom. Even my hungry teenagers wouldn't touch it after trying a bite. It was the worst pizza, for the most amount of money, ever. This place will be out of business soon anyways, but anything I can do to help that would be a delight. Please, please, PLEASE do not get pizza, or anything else from this "restaurant".
