A beautiful hidden gem of Wyckoff. It is great for a picnic or a romantic walk around the lake. Kids would love the animals they have. They have a bald eagle and some hawks. They have deer and a fox and plenty of reptiles and fish. Those are just the animals in cages. I often see deer and birds in the wild as I walk around as well.

Visited here for the first time for nature therapy and wasn't disappointed. Truly peaceful, immaculate grounds, nice staff in the center's building. Able to sit at a strategically placed bench along the trail and peacefully watch a deer for a half hour. Great place to center one's self and feel some inner peace. This is definitely my new favorite place to get away.

Very friendly staff and beautiful place. There are picnic areas outside, but don't bring food into the museum part. Also don't get in there if you are afraid of snakes.

I wish they'd get rid of the zoo, but this is a wonderful slice of nature that's well preserved. Reminds me of the NYC Botanical Gardens on a smaller scale. Could use a few more signs labeling tree/plant types.
