My son found this wonderful piece of sea glass a few days ago and today, with Cindy's help, I was able to turn it in to a piece of jewelry to remember our trip. The class is well-princes, informative and fun.
In late August during high peak time, we called to see if we could bring our 2 daughters who were extremely excited to learn about seaglassing. Unfortunately, we were turned down because they were too busy processing their cow for the next three days.
We had the pleasure of finding a this fantastic shop that offers beautiful handmade jewelry and other handmade gifts. Cindy and her husband Guy offer 30 minute classes where they give you step-by-step instructions on how to make your own seaglass pendants. My 3 kids, my cousin and I had wonderful time making these beautiful keepsakes while on vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable experience!!
What a great experience. Thought we'd be going to a store but it is run out of the back of the couple's house. Was a little hesitant at first but SO GLAD we ventured in. They have beautifully crafted jewelry for sale at very reasonable prices. My husband, who does not consider himself artistic at all, and I ended up making our own seaglass pendants. For $15 each it was a great experience. The gentleman even gave us a bit of a tour around their most prized finds. Such a neat history lesson and we ended up with beautiful pieces of jewelry to top it off. Has definitely been the highlight of our PEI trip.
My daughter and I made beautiful pendants here. Cindy was encouraging and so helpful and we are thrilled with the results. Also lovely fairy gardens and cute little beach area, as well as great flower gardens and pond.nHighly recommend this island experience!!
