Ok these guys REALLY know how to make their wings and pizza. The wings we had were honestly some of the best I've had. Grilled to perfection and unbelievably flavorful. Top all of this off with perfect service and you have a place you would go back to as many times as you can. Pity I was here on a visit and don't live close by.Food: 5/5
Let me start by saying the service was fantastic. My wife loved her "Mom's Lasagna" but my salad was good and large but the dressing was bland and my Margherita pizza was disappointing. Mainly because the crust was hard as a rock. But the portions were huge and it was not expensive.
One of the best combination pizzas I have ever had. Wife had the beast mode and she loved it. Amazing service and food. Great group of very friendly guys.
One of the best pizza joints I’ve visited. The restaurant was so quaint. We had a group of 7 people, including 2 kids, and got the California pizza, 2 different gluten-free and dairy free pizzas garlic chicken and iron forge special. The kids ate the Margherita. We also had 3 of their desserts - the chocolate cake, cheesecake and cinnamon knots - they were all to die for. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and generous. No question we will be back again. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
We travel the Canadian Heritage Canals as well as the east cost of the US down to Key West and this restaurant is definitely one of the top two we've eaten at. The lasagne and the butter chicken poutine were not only excellent, but combined with the excellent service by the waitress and the very reasonable price .... well, put this on your must-do list.
Had our work Christmas party at The Iron Forge! Such a cozy atmosphere. The pizza is very fresh, so much flavor. I needed gluten free and what a treat. I had the Mediterranean, the choices are plenty and so creative. Divine appetizers and salads, topped off with dessert. The cinnamon poppers and flour less cake! The service was excellent, and I left with fresh bagels and sourdough bread to take home. Will be coming back! Highly recommend.. Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free options.
Wonderful restaurant experience. Brought my elderly mother with me and we were treated to top notch service. The man who served us was extremely kind and friendly and even salted the walkway in front of entrance so it was safe for my mother. Excellent experience and the pizza we ordered was beyond good!
We have visited twice now. First time, shared a margherita pizza. Now, if you are looking for an authentic Italian thin crust margherita pizza, you will not find it. But, if you are looking for a modern pizzeria twist, same ingredients with a delicious sourdough crust, you cannot beat it. We returned again today, this time trying the combination pizza. Again, served piping hot, and absolutely delicious, again with a wonderfully chewy crust, excellent toppings. Both times, our servers were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!
My boi Shaw over here at Iron Forge knows what's up. I have had pizza here twice as well as the chicken wrap and chicken burger and I've not been disappointed yet. I am a huge supporter of local especially when it comes to food and knowing all of this is made on the spot using his recipes and hard work seals the deal for me. Plus he also stopped by my business as he was moving in and got some gift certificates done so that's bonus points. Good food. Good prices and good service. Would recommend.
Absolutely incredible! Always looking for a new food joint to try and this one hits home! I used to manage a wood fired pizza restaurant, so I know a little something about what goes into making a great pizza. Everything I got tasted so fresh, that translated well with the overall flavour of the pizza, the sauce is on point, toppings abundant and a great tasting crust! You guys I haven’t experienced good pizza like this in a while, oh and the garlic knots mmmm so good! BEST PART they have fair prices especially for the quality of food the are putting out! My new favourite pizza restaurant...Oh and maybe my dads too... he’s not easy to please being Italian but he’s very impressed. *** EDIT I have since returned at least twice with company to eat in, I will never get sick of coming here! They are so polite and the food is always better enjoyed fresh outta the oven! We talked with the owner and he explained to us a bit about his journey and the amazing sourdough pizza crust! Oh we also learned it’s a scratch kitchen going to have to try some of the other delicious menu items! ....mmmm but the pizza tho!
