Ireland's Bait shop of Elk County

I have been stopping here for a few years when I'm up at my cabin and they have always been great to deal with. Two weekend ago my wading boot sole came off while out fishing and we got there just as he was about to leave for a Saturday night. They opened the store up to help me out. I was not expecting that and I really appreciate it as we had a couple more day planned to fish. Thanks again!!!

If you want to catch Trout in the PA Wilds, buy fresh bait from Ireland's! When we fish Laurel Run, Medix Run, Parker Lake, we stop at this shop for fresh minnows, meal worms, maggots. A great selection of smart, area appropriate lures & tackle for fishing PA Trout Streams. One time, I stopped after normal hours and Minnows were available on the "honor system". That was much appreciated!

The owner and his wife are great! He set up a meet on Christmas Eve while I was traveling to my hometown so I could purchase minnows for my dad. Standup guy and great little ‘hole in the wall’ joint.

If you need bait or tackle this guys has it ! And always has the bet live bait. I wouldn’t go any wheee else. He’s a tradition worth keeping

Owner is a nice guy. Has a good selection in his little garage shop. Always happy with bait because it's lively and fresh. Good place to get stocked up.

Much to choose from for being a small store. But low on inventory at the time of my visit. They will order items that you request. Very polite and will assist you as much as they can.

Mike is always accommodating; bait is fresh and lively and he continues to listen to the anglers in the area, offering a wide array of tackle from trout to musky. Thanks for all your efforts Mike!

He is one of the few baitshops aound been going there since he opend and nust had a few things! His selection is growing and love it buy alot of our fishing gear there he has great selection now and prices have always been and continue to be great! He takes care of us every time we stop gives advice and lets u know what other fishermen are saying Hope he and his shop are around for a very long time!

We stopped in sunday morning for quick self service bait. Turns out they were actually open, really nice store. We will go back when we have more time to shop.
