First time . Great atmosphere, great customer service. The server was always checking up on me to ensure I had everything I need. Water refill/chopsticks/fork/knife . Ramen was delicious , broth with a little bit of hot sauce made it even better. Everything cooked perfectly. Strongly recommend it
Decided to try Ippon Ramen last night and I think I found a new go-to place! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. All the staff were super friendly and you could tell they were smiling, even with the mask on! The ippon roasted milk tea was perfect to end off the meal.
Food was decent! The noodles are fresh! A little skimpy on the toppings and presentation. The broth is decent.I wish I got the spicy one. The matcha cheesecake was amaaaaazingggg
Staff is friendly, restaurant is pretty well kept. Ippon Shoyu is soup base is extremely salty, noodles was cook perfectly, chashu was tasteless, rough and extremely thin like paper. Curry is pretty good but still on more of the salty side. Chicken is tender but flavourless.
This is my favourite ramen place in Durham. I've ordered takeout here several times. I've only got to dine in once for the first time. I've always got their shoyu pork ramen which is extremely flavourful and they make their own broths from scratch without msg. They also have really cool drinks which I've had a few times. I'd also like to compliment their noodles because they really taste hand made and the texture of the noodles is just perfect. I've always recommended everyone ippon ramen in Durham Durham for both their broth and noodles. I was only a little disappointed when I ordered their kimchi side dish, it didn't taste as I expected it should be. But other than that I also recommend you check out their rice bowls, especially the kaarage Donburi.
Having moved to Whitby last year, I was desperate to find a new ramen place to go to. Little did I know this little noodle shop would become my GO-TO place. I've gone there right when it's open 11am and later on in the evening. Their speedy service and friendly staff remain regardless the time of the day. My usuals are sake and Black Knight at Ippon. They are delicious. I I know can count a yummy for my belly and wonderful friendly staff team. I've brought my sister and my little boy 7 yo here. Both of them enjoyed thoroughly. The price for the food has increased a bit since my last visit, that's the only thing. I would HIGHLY recommend this ramen place who loves ramen!!
This is the second time I’ve been to Ippon Ramen and it hasn’t disappointed both times. The service was amazing and most importantly the food was delicious. I got the Red Knight Ramen, it was perfect. It was spicy, flavourful, filling and everything I was looking for. I will definitely be coming back again and again! Thank you for the great service!
The ramen, shrimp tempura and bubble tea was excellent! I only wish I had taken pictures of them before eating. The staff was very knowledgeable and polite. I will be back soon for more
Came by for a late night date night and the vibes were on point. The staff were super friendly and really wanted feedback on the ramen. Which was SLAPPINN! The only thing that we need is more noodles. But definitely check this spot out if you’re in the area.
The ramen was good. I ordered a passion fruit drink, I thought was yummy. Two of my friends also ordered a drink which they also enjoyed.
