Stopped in, late afternoon. After walking on the beach. Date day, out of town. Sharon had heard good things about this place. It was not over rated, at all. The Piná Colatas were good The fries were ideal, especially when they were hot & fresh The Philly Cheese sandwich was good. But The Texas Burger was really good.
If you order off the take out menu, be prepared to have the absolute minimum on your stuff. $7.95 for a hamburger with absolutely no toppings... After going in and complaining and wanting a refund the staff did take it back and added Lettuce, tomato, onions and a pickle, it made all the difference. Now if we would of taken a table in the restaurant we would of had all the extras... But it was a 60min wait @ 145pm on a Friday.... Ipperwash Beach Club you should bring back the toppings on your burgers the customers would enjoy it much more.
End of August was our first time there and it was such a wonderful experience! A highlight of the summer actually! We enjoyed our good size dinner of salmon, mashed potatoes w veg and sausage w fries while watching the boats being slowly driven by, pulled by red tractors with happy sun kissed people atop them. Our waitress was perfect and Jim the owner, very kind, generous and hard working. After dinner, a Beatles cover band rocked the house for two AMAZING sets. I had a fabulous time dancing barefoot on the grass and singing along with people of all ages and met such fun and friendly people. I understand that there’s live music throughout the summer - it was magical! Parking: Parking is free and ample and Jim was very generous with us and we are very grateful :
The first time we visited we had exceptional service and no issues so we decided to visit again. Our first visit was on a weekday afternoon where we ordered 3 kid's menus and 2 adult entrees as well as an appetizer. I thought it was really nice the server came back on our first visit to tell us the fries weren't vegan but they could offer a side salad for my son instead. We really appreciated the honesty. The food came extremely quick that day. My one son enjoyed his Veg burger so much that he begged me to take him there again yesterday evening. Big BIG mistake...The had an awesome band playing and were extremely busy and understaffed. Apparently 4 servers called in sick which was too bad. I tried to order 3 children's menus and it was a painful 2 hour ordeal. It took 20 minutes just to take our order. I attempted to order the same children menu dishes the children got last time...2 vegan marinara pastas with no butter on the bread and a vegan burger. The server commented that there may be an up charge to the salad but I replied strange how they did not charge us extra the last visit. About an hour and 20 minutes in I offered to pay for our meals in advance to speed things up. I noticed our server only had one pasta on the tab but I didn't want to complain and slow things down so I just accepted my youngest would share. Food eventually came... my son noticed his burger was not a vegan burger like he had the last time but definitely a regular meat burger. We told our server immediately and she commented there would be an up charge to get a vegan one. This information should have been shared with us immediately when we first our order in. If I knew in advance when I first asked for his vegan burger then I would have just ordered him one from the adult menu. I commented how they never charged us extra for it during our last visit. Frustrated....I told our server just to get my son another pasta so I didn't have to repay my tab. The second pasta came back with cheese on top and garlic butter on the bread and my son noticed immediately thank goodness. If someone had a severe dairy allergy it may have not turned out so well for them. Our first experience was the complete opposite experience of what we had so I know the great potential this place has to offer especially to vegans but we won't ever be visiting on a Saturday night ever again.
We had the pulled pork on a bun and Greek salad + Pickerel and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! Would go again!Food: 5/5
The wife and I went for a Friday night dinner. I had the chicken Ceasars wrap with fries. This was a very good choice. My wife had the fish tacos. She liked them, very much. We both had desserts, which was the carrot cheese cake with caramel drizzle. I had the key lime. Both were excellent. The carrot cheese cake was rich and very filling. Wish I had take pix of these. Shame on me. Our server, Serena Lynn, was amazing. Very professional, friendly, personable. She paid attention to our needs during our meal. Thank you again Serena Lynn. The cost of the meals, we found to be reasonable. We will be back to the Ipperwash Beach Club.
Great menu, seafood Focus but has other options as well. My friend had homemade seafood chowder which they thoroughly enjoyed I had crab cakes with aioli sauce, nicely done and the aioli sauce was excellent! Attentive wait staff, there's a bar section, indoor restaurant section which opens out onto the patio and with the small view of the lake, upscale menu with reasonable prices Shaw's ice cream store attached beside the restaurant
celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary today with lunch at the Beach Club. First time here and we were delighted with the menu and atmosphere. our meals were delicious. Wonderful atmosphere... efficient friendly staff. couldn't have been better pleased. See you again soon.Food: 5/5
Beach was packed, and we decided to have lunch. This is pretty popular great spot. Close to beach. Good service food is good! Had the crab cakes you get 3 and they are good size and real crab coleslaw hubby had the turkey club ... it was a good size and real turkey not cold cold cut. Cold Corona on the patio on a hot day! Can't beat that!!
I love the beach club. It’s our place to go. However the last couple times we’ve gone have been horrible. We arrived before many others and waited an hour for our food which was a sandwhich and nachos. People were seated after us and walked out with there take out boxes and we just sat there. When our food came out… the yacht club sandwhich was great but nachos not so much! No cheese and not many veggies! Such a disappointment after waiting so long.
