We have been clients of IG for 10 years. However about 4 years ago they moved our account to their 'head office' out west because it wasn't 'big enough' to warrant personal service - just a couple of small RESPs. We have to call in and make phone appointments and they don't respond to emails. We have had to mail cheques from Grandma out west because they don't accept them at the local office and it takes months to see if the cheques are actually deposited. It's ridiculous. Now we are going through a terrible time trying to get our child's RESP in time for University because it's impossible to stay in touch with the same 'agent' so you have to start at the beginning with every one and they can't seem to tell us what paperwork they think we're missing. We have invested in other places since IG only wants big business. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

IG Wealth Management is a great investment company that always keeps in touch with you if they see a better investment for you.

Terrible response from a consultant to answering calls. Only responses by email. Customer service -10/10. Had to go to management to get answers as the consultant would not respond. Seek a second and third option before making a decision to use this company. Do your research to your future savings and your children’s education portfolio.
