I love Melisa’s boutique and she made me feel comfortable discussing my challenges, fears and long term goals. My goal was to cover my thin spot on top and match my natural colour. I was so happy as this clip on hair piece is light and does not feel like a wig. Best part the colour match was incredible. Wow I feel like a new woman!

Melinda is such a wonderful person and  has an excellent customer service. I was looking for a wig for my best friend who just passed away. I found her site on google and called her and left message. I did not expect to receive a response back since her boutique is closed that day. However, she did responded back and I explained her my situation and without further discussion she told me she can meet us that day. She welcomed us in her boutique so warmly and answered all our questions, since she did not have the product we are looking for she unselfishly directed us to the stores she knows around. This act shows how her business ethics are and how supportive she is towards other "competing" business. There are few business owners that amazed me with their kindness and exquisite service and she is definitely one of those! Thank you Melinda for your compassionate service. I will highly and lovingly recommend you should someone need your service.
This is the first review I have completed re a company. My experience was so positive and my appreciation of Melinda so absolute I had to complete this review. I have had very thin hair for 30 years and have worn wigs and hair systems throughout my journey. Melinda's respect, compassion and generosity of spirit has been amazing. The quality of the hair system nano skin is the next best thing to my own hair. Melinda has been willing to take my phone calls about washing my hair and has scheduled an appointment with me, to service the system at no cost, so I can learn how to do it for myself. For the first time since using hair replacements I can feel the outside temperatures. on my scalp. It moves like my own hair and is definitely the next best thing. Again. I can't speak more highly of Melinda and her commitment to her clients. I'm so grateful to have found this gold mine. Beth
I was totally impressed with Melinda’s thorough knowledge of toppers and wigs. She found a topper to match my colour and cover up the very thin spot on the top of my head. Eli came in to trim the topper and I left Intimate AffHairs with beautiful hair that looked totally natural and a better understanding of how to deal with my thinning hair. I am very thankful for the recommendation from a friend to visit this shop. Thanks Melinda - I love my new look.
Went here seeking help and guidance on wigs. Was unimpressed by the customer service and zero guarantee of getting a wig within the next 3-6 months. There were a lot of jokes and sarcasm being used that were not taken well as I’m in a sensitive and difficult time in my life with all my hair loss/ personal health. Could not justify spending $750 on a synthetic wig when I can easily buy a real hair wig for $500 elsewhere. Can easily say I got a much better personalized experience going to any other wig store.

If I could give 0 stars. I dont know if the person was having a bad day, but she sent 5 texts telling my mom that she needs to learn to keep on time for her appointments. My mom was 20 minutes early. The lady had mistaken her schedule. Then inside, she over talked my mom, and wouldnt let her voice her opinion about the wigs she tried on. She seemed put out that my mom didnt like anything in stock. It was a gross experience for a mom who is in the chemo stages of her fight. ___________ Updating with a response to the response, I imagine that my mom was annoyed from the text messages and also from what she felt was an uncomfortable situation that had been created. However to your other point, I didn't arrive until much later than my mother, she had already been there trying on wigs before I arrived. That was my 14 year old niece you are referring to I believe. She came with my mom. And that's just her resting B face.
I am so happy that I found Intimate AffHiars and met Melinda. I very seldom write any review but I must share and recommend this Wig Boutique. I have worn wigs for over 6 years. I do not need them for medical or hair loss reasons but I am a business professional and have fine hair that needs a lot of work. Having a natural looking, high quality wig saves time and frustration... I have a great hair day everyday! . I have shopped the other wig stores in Calgary, have ordered on line and have driven as far as Edmonton to purchase a great wig. Having found Intimate AffHairs here in Calgary was amazing. Melinda has such a great selection, great color selection and offers to order if she does not have in the color you need. The prices are well within line and some even less expensive than other stores I have gone to. The best is the experience. Melinda is patient, helpful and is great at suggesting styles and colors that suite me best. I wont go anywhere else. I own at least 4 wigs from her boutique and will continue to add to my collection . No matter what your reason is for purchasing a wig, rest assured , Melinda’s this boutique is the only place you should go.
I have been a client of Intimate AffHairs for the past 2.5 years. When I first went to the boutique to find a wig, I was broken and lacking self confidence. If I hadn’t found the owner, Melinda to be as kind as she was, I don’t think that I would have had the courage to purchase a wig and move forward. Because of her warmth and kindness, I was able to listen to her suggestions and walked out with a beautiful new wig. It changed me completely.
