This is not a great mall if you're looking to kill time by shopping, but it does have some perks. The Japanese dollar store is a lot of fun to explore. There is a great board game store with knowledgeable staff. The movie theatre upstairs has great showings. The parking is convenient and often free. The major downside of this mall are the super slow elevators. If possible, avoid them and take the stairs or escalators. The mall also isn't in the greatest part of town, and sometimes the crowd here can look a bit rough, especially in the McDonald's where we once stopped two drunk men from kicking an old woman who was lying prone on the ground. This isn't typical but just be cautious.

They have a great Chinese food restaurant here on the main level. Great prices. Also a Japanese dollar store which is pretty cool. The only problem with this mall is its close to the ghetto so some people in the mall are not the nicest so hold your wallets and purses close to you. Otherwise check it out. There is even a cat cafe.

Big, beautiful mall in the heart of skid row. Not surprisingly there aren't many tenants, and the ones that are there look pretty marginal, as if they are the pet projects of the owners' relatives or something. Bring your cat coffee shop, several "art" galleries, lots of cellphone accessory places and stuff. Nowhere to buy a pair of jeans or sneakers or regular mall fare. The food court is better for not having the franchise operators, mostly ethnic food made by the actual ethnicity instead makes for better chance of yummy. Movie theatres are quite nice and often have more arty films. Free parking near the city core.

Greatest public washrooms. Truly a critical public service being met by the free market. Study how this freakish nexus came to be: and compare to public offerings (victory square vs. Crab park)
