IHOC has a solid selection of sturgeon & non-sturgeon caviars and some other gourmet foods. I regularly buy caviar and smoked sturgeon from them and have for a couple years now - as well as caviar serving tools, truffles, and fancy food gifts for my family [altho recently they’ve “streamlined” their online selection somewhat]. I think my favourite aspects of shopping with IHOC are… the easy online checkout, their reliably responsive customer e-service, their next-day local door-to-door delivery in their fabulous logo’ed van and their very nice matt-black-&-gold bags with sealed icepack shippers discreetly inside - even in summer heatwaves I have complete confidence that the caviar is safe & fresh. I also really like that they carry high-quality Canadian & [frankly] world-class British Columbia products. And if you dig around a little, their website has some very informative tasting notes and recipes.

We had the good fortune of being offered Siberian Classic caviar that my brother brought to a family event. What a great way to start a meal and step it up a notch. The caviar is very high quality, creamy, not too salty, and just plain delicious!

I ordered many different types of caviar for my birthday and they were all incredible. If I told you the type of customer service that I’ve received from Behzad, I don’t think you would believe me. As someone who works in a service oriented environment, I understand how hard it can be to manage, organize, and be on top of everything all of the time. Behzad makes it look easy! He has hand delivered caviar to me in the past to my work place. I live on Vancouver island! He is so efficient, caring and just overall the best in the industry. This was my first time ordering caviar over the internet. The order arrived the next day as promised and was securely packaged. I ordered a gift set for someone else plus some extras for myself. The gift box was impressive and included two beautiful mosaic mother of pearl spoons. The whole experience felt very luxurious. Their customer service greatly exceeded my expectations. I reported a small issue with one of the caviar tins just to make them aware, but they took the opportunity to go above and beyond and more than make up for it.

We recently enjoyed some of the Golden Imperial Kaluga caviar. The caviar was delicious; a treat we had never experienced, but were well prepared to savour as lovers of seafoods. However, even though the caviar was a remarkable taste experience, what will endure even more is the customer service. We ordered the caviar as part of an “under the sea” themed birthday party for a beloved friend who is, unfortunately, terribly and terminally sick with cancer. The IHOC went the extra mile to ensure we received the caviar on time, in a way that was truly heart warming. Clearly they understand the importance of a quality product, and role that such products can play in creating special and meaningful memories when loved ones enjoy them together.
