Intact Insurance

We been with intact 20 plus years... they then canceled our insurance after we made claim in fire.They left us out in the cold.They have been extremely difficult to deal with and seem to stone wall us on every corner. Would not recommend.

I can’t believe the lack of service by this company. Put in a claim exactly a month ago due to a fallen tree roof damage from a storm in Winnipeg and to date no one can give a resolution to the claim. Have now spoken to 3 different “adjusters” I beg them to at least give me a courtesy call, but obviously no one knows the meaning of that. Numerous emails to see if anyone can give me an update, again, no follow up .. So beyond frustrated that I need to go through this. Disappointed, does not begin to describe it.

My experience with Intact was absolutely terrible. I dealt with Geof sullivan, he does not answer or return ph. calls. He is rude and unprofessional. I called or texted him over 50 times with no response. Wendy Mckracken is Goef's manager I called her repeatedly, same thing no response. It seems to me the Intact corporate policy is to ignore their policy holders. If you use Intact insurance in Winnipeg, be prepared to be disappointed. unfortunately I have to pick 1 star to post this. they deserve no stars. Their where 2 intact employees that where good to deal with Jeanette and Meredith

Would not recommend Intact as an insurance provider. Customer service is atrocious, borderline non-existent.

Robbed my mother what was rightfully owned to her. Lawyers in steinbach won't take any cases against fraud insurance companies. The crew that came in to demo and remove property stole items that were not damaged. My fathers tools that were in the high thousands were stolen.

We had cancelled our insurance in May. Today we got a mail that they have terminated our insurance because we didnt pay for our insurance. And sent us a legal notice to pay $75. What is this nonsense when we had already cancelled our insurance and told them that we don't want to renew it. Why the heck are you guys charging us?
