Finally a good maritime school! Having experienced another maritime college, I can say with complete certainty that IMQ is the best maritime school I have attended, by far. Motivating teachers who know their subject very well, interesting courses and who promote student learning in a school environment focused on the success of the student and not on the reputation of the institution. Even if it is not free, the registration prices and those for books are very reasonable, and the city of Rimouski is a very interesting city for having a balanced student life, not very far from home. I highly recommend this school if you are interested in the maritime field.
Worst school for naval architecture. A teacher who speaks almost no French to teach autocad and one who smells of alcohol for technical drawing.nJanus Binkevich had the students vote by hand to see if he should correct my term paper and given that he was not able to have the plans printed on the official submission date, something which was very easy for me the next day. In short........A school which needs registrations for the money, but given the opening of positions in thenarea there is a very big head cutting planned. 30 students in architecturenfirst year for a total of 3 graduates 3 years later and 1 who is currently working. The cafeteria is great and I have no doubt that the other fields of study are very good, but architecture is a big 0, a dream that came true. Don't be fooled into keeping your time and money.
School recognized worldwide for the quality of its teaching in the maritime field. Educational house which trained the greatest maritime pilots.
