A must stop when in Owen Sound!!! Beautiful waterfall. It's an amazing place to take photos and also explore nearby trails and area. Water flow was massive and looked amazing. Waterfall is easily accessible from the parking lot. Please note there is $10 parking fee.
We visited several waterfalls in Grey County on our recent trip there and we thought Inglis Falls were the most beautiful. The access to the falls was also very well laid out, so you can get a good view of the falls. There are steep stairs and a rocky path to one of the viewing areas, so not everyone will be able to manage this, but there is still a good view of the falls from close to the parking lot. The washrooms at these falls are also above average.
Came by chance as the server at the restaurant where we ate suggested this place to visit. Just 7 minutes away from Sabitri global cuisine we decided to check it out. Covered in snow and icicles the river flowing turns into a gushing waterfall, it’s so magical watching water turning into ice. Lovely spot for a quiet relaxing space and it’s great for trails in the summer.
Beautiful and majestic waterfall. You can see the waterfall from the parking lot. Check out the staircase which leads you to a viewing platform to have a better view of the falls. There is a trail on site which connects you to Harrison Park located ~3km northwards. Did a part of this trail and it was gorgeous! Great opportunity for some forest bathing. The air was so fresh and piney. Probably one of the most relaxing walks this fall. Paid parking. No online reservation needed.
Nice falls at the historic site of a former saw mill. Small parking lot $10 fee that was near capacity when we arrived. Easy 3K hiking trail in to the woods around the river and dam.
Parked little north of the falls for free instead of 10 at the falls & walked the trail. Hardly anybody around, the walk was beautiful. Saw multiple salmon swimming upstream. Great view of the falls and surrounding area once you reach it.
A must visit waterfall, you will amazed to see the flow of water. Very peaceful place to visit it has also small trail to walk around. Overall very good experience to visit this beautiful place of nature.
What an incredible waterfall and nature area. The river, the trails and the scenic views are spectacular. The young man working the admission gate on the afternoon of 2022-08-07 was wonderfully helpful. The restrooms and basic upkeep of the place are deplorable and if this is the standard that Grey Sauble Conservation Authority finds acceptable they are failing the taxpayers that fund their program. Most shocking to me is was that this park is only 5 minutes away from the GSCA admin offices. What a shame that this gem of a place is so neglected by the people who are charged with protecting it.
Beautiful waterfalls seconds away from parking lot makes this view accessible to most. There may be a few stairs to get to the platform to view the falls I can’t recall if it’s wheelchair accessible. The hikes nearby are pretty cool! It got very rocky and big roots so hiking shoe with good grip is a must. Also download all trails or an app to show you a map of the hiking trails you’re on so you don’t get lost. The $10 fee at the gate to get in is a bit steep but let’s just hope the money is going into redoing their bathroom facilities. The area has some interesting history you can read about and explore. Worth checking out
Don't necessarily agree with the $10 parking fee especially on weekdays, that's what makes it 4 stars instead of 5 but nonetheless, it's more than worth the visit. There's no work to enjoy this waterfall, you get take in the view basically as soon as you park. There's trails around it, that are very peaceful to walk, making you feel like you're in the middle of a forest cause you are. But the main event is the first thing you'll venture to.
