I noticed the fairways were soft, so you dont get a 10 yard roll from the driver compared to other courses. Also, narrow fairways and hit about 6 trees .nGReens were fast and smooth, almost like carpet.nPlayed at twilight rate $71 and under 4 hours on long weekend.nEasy course to walk.nShot 8 over my handicap, tough coursen*Lots of bugs by the evergreen trees, so try to stay out of trees
Beautiful golf course nuzzle just on the out skirt of downtown Calgary. Runs along the beautiful bow. Beautiful fairways & greens. Then once done a round of Golf up to sit on the patio for some great food. Highly recommend trying a round of Golf here.
The finest place to golf . Amazing place and excellent maintenance.
Are there better courses for the same price? Yes for sure. But this is super convenient and central and hard to get a tee time. Wish they cleaned the leaves and cotton up more. Easy to lose track of your ball even on a fairway hit in the debris.nnGreens in nice shape and nice tee boxes. Probably hard to ever fully manage all the leaves/cotton from such a heavily treed course
Looks easy course, but they have soft fairway, narrow, some challenging, then great greens. Makes you to think to come back for sure.nnPractice range is OK, Fairway is great, greens are great, tee box has great landscape, and city view over the bow river was amazing.nnI would improve the course with little more clarifying where the next tee box is, first comer would confused in some wholes.
