The variety of books and sections is pretty good, but the pricing is always exaggerated. Shopping online is a good strategy since i always found books 25% cheaper, if not more. Great if you're in a pinch, but I would them to be more competitive. Attached to a Starbucks which is nice. Also, the kid section has a great selection of books and toys.
Straight forward and consistent. Clean, well organized. I always buy my books from this store. They have a wide variety and can usually order things that aren't available. It's usually not that crowded. The staff is friendly. The point system is a bonus.
I normally would give this store a 5 star- clean, friendly staff and good variety. However, they have removed all their sitting areas. I drove out of my way to go there, expecting to sit and look at books to help me decide which ones to buy. I love sitting in a book store. Now I feel like I'm just being pushed out the door. They used to have sitting areas but they got replaced by extra shelves with more to sell.
Horrible customer service when you order online! Since the 8th of March I've been fighting for a cancelation order that they were supposed to take care of cause THEY lost my order. I've put my lawyer on this case,because of their incompetence and neglect to do their jobs at customer service. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM! Save yourselves the headache. I'll never shop online or walk into their store ever again.
It was hard to find someone to help me find my book, but other than that I enjoyed the store.
Really terrible service. Was waiting in journals area to pay due to long linevup ... next thing you know clerk comes up to tell me tell me cashes are closed ... but offers yo put my purchases aside ! Wow!!! Never announced closing , and refused to let make my purchases!!!
Indigo has computer problems. They can't know what they have, can't search. Staff are busy helping, but are overstretched. No support evident for their difficulties, so these become the customers' difficulties. Good selection, but good luck finding what you want.
Lots of incomplete collections. Comics availability is severely lacking. A few years ago stock was much better.
Always neat and organized, very friendly staff. Great visit with kids in the children's section, interesting books and games, a selection of diy projects for all ages and I personally love that there are book recommendations by the staff throughout the store.
Be aware magazines cannot be returned to Indigo. No where are customers warned about this policy. Buy your magazines on Amazon, their return policy is much more forgiving. This is the last time I ever come here.
