The place has really nice South Indian food. Liked all items we have ordered 6 different dosa and 1 uttapam and 2 starters and 1 dessert. Everything was nice and tasty. Service provided by Harsh was also really appreciated.
Food was very amazing. Especially idly and dosa was very mouth watering. Chutneys were awesome.Must try restaurant in KWC region.Special thanks to Tasmay for better serving and good customer service.
Absolutely loved it! In my opinion it's the best south Indian restaurant in Waterloo. The food was fantastic, the server was very polite and helpful and the whole place had a wonderful ambience with the themed decor and stuff. We just tried the basics since it was our first time, and it was all just super delicious. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try this cuisine!nnUpdate to this that we come here on and off and it's been very consistent. Tried a variety of their options and everything is great! Please keep up the good work!
I’ve been to Indian Spice three times now, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing! This time I had the pleasure of trying their Masala Dosa, Pav Bhaji Dosa, Idli Vada Combo, Chat, and Dahi Puri, and I have to say, everything was absolutely perfect. The flavors are authentic and rich, making each dish a true taste of South Indian cuisine. The Masala Dosa was crispy on the outside with a perfectly spiced filling, and the Pav Bhaji Dosa was a unique and delicious twist. The Idli and Vada combo was fresh and flavorful, and both the Chat and Dahi Puri were a burst of tangy and sweet goodness.nnWhat really makes Indian Spice stand out, beyond the great food, is the exceptional service. A big shoutout to Tashmay and Harsh for always going above and beyond to make sure every customer has a memorable experience. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail make the dining experience even more enjoyable. This is by far my favorite spot for South Indian food, and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
I visited Indian Spice in Waterloo and ordered the Mysore Masala Dosa and Samosa Chaat. While the flavour was great, my experience was overshadowed by numerous serious negatives.nnFirst and foremost, the service was unsatisfactory. I saw a distinct prejudice in how customers were treated, with Canadian clientele clearly receiving more attention and care. As someone who values fair treatment, this was disappointing.nnIn addition, the restaurant's hygiene may be improved. The plates were not fully wiped, affecting the whole meal experience.nnGiven these concerns, I cannot totally suggest this business. While the food is fine, there are other alternatives in the region that offer better sanitary and more inclusive service. Consider visiting Indian Spice only if you’re really wanting South Indian and can't find an alternative nearby.
