One of the best restaurants we have been to! Enroute to Mississauga from Burlington, we thought of trying a new place in Waterdown and this came up with great reviews so thought we will try it. Best decision ever! The chicken in Chicken Tikka Masala was so soft and well marinated unlike the rubbery chicken in other places. Garlic naan was soft and flavourful. Chicken biryani was authentic without being too spicy. Reasonable prices, clean spacious place and friendly customer service. Will definately recommend this one to all .. worth the drive for anyone.
Delicious Food and great Servcie!! Their Briyanis are on next level, i high recommend that.
Okay, I am impressed with the flavour of this restaurant's food; bravo! Great variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. Pleasant customer service upon pickup. Every dish we had was full of flavour, meat was very tender and easily broken apart with a fork, spice wasn't too overbearing but there IS a bit of a 'kick' even with the 'mild' spice, samosas were fresh dough was not hard/stale, and very generous portions of rice were given. Gave it a 4/5 because it was a bit pricey. Ordered the Dinner for Four and it came out to $76.83. Pictures posted.
Most delicious Indian food not just in Waterdown but I think at least in a 50km radius. We tasted most of their curries and they are all awesome. We order from here when we are hosting our Indian friends and they all love the taste of their food. Highly recommended.
The flavors were pretty spot on. I really did not like the way the food was reheated though. I know that Indian food cannot be prepared within 20 minutes but if the heating method is not right, the chicken will stink. So please stop using the microwave to reheat and use a pan instead.
We picked Indian Hut after trying out a bunch of restaurants as our wedding caterer. The food we had in their restaurant was phenomenal and they were incredibly accommodating when we asked them to deliver the appetizers separately for the cocktail hour. They were even willing to make the samosas smaller for cocktail hour as their regular size would have been too large. Our guests at the wedding were incredibly pleased with the food and we had many people asking us to share the caterer details with them. There were a couple of minor hiccups that I think they need to work on: 1 They need a better order taking and payment system. We paid a deposit over the phone and the receipt they took a photo of didn't have the right quantities even though they had it in their notes. We had to go into the restaurant to confirm the details because we were a bit nervous with their communication. Giving customers a detailed catering invoice with record of deposit and amount outstanding would give them a lot of confidence in Indian Hut! 2 On the day of the wedding, they delivered the appetizers on time for the cocktail hour but were quite late for the dinner. We couldn't reach their Waterdown location which was the one catering to us on the phone as it was going straight to voicemail and we weren't given the contact information for the delivery person. Just as we decided to get in touch with their Grimsby location who took the call, their delivery person showed up almost an hour late. They should do a better job of communicating with their catering customers if things are not going to plan. 3 This one is a minor one, but the food was not as delicious as when we had it in the restaurant - the naan was a little chewy. Given our large order quantity and the fact that it was delivered, I am not overly upset about it but the difference did stand out. Overall, I would certainly go there again and am planning to because the food when dining in is absolutely amazing!
My husband and I have returned numerous times now for the Lentil Soup, we order enough for left overs. Curry meals are amazing, as well as the Butter Chicken and of course my new favourite the "Chicken Tikka Masala" suggested by one of the employees. Great tasting food, good portions, and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for good Indian Food!
This food was excellent. The service was amazing. Please stop in and try it out. We need to keep this business in our town. They were so hospitable, friendly and made us feel so comfortable. And again it was delicious and plenty of food. Try it out!!
Food was good. They come to the table with water that we didn't order. But let's be honest tooooo expensive for what you recieve. All chicken dishes are brown meat. Upgrade to white meat is $4.00 a portion. The size of a small soup bowl.
Very stale naan and weird tasting butter chicken. Low standards for an Indian restaurant. Most reviews seem to be fake, definitely no where near 4+ stars. Wouldn't recommend and won't be returning.
