This is quite possibly the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. My partner & I wanted to go somewhere nice to celebrate our anniversary, saw that this place had great reviews and decided to give it a try; oh my goodness, did we make the right call. Not only was the food absolutely amazing, seriously, the atmosphere was warm, romantic & welcoming and the service was incredible. We're just in Tsawwassen for the weekend, but would absolutely make the drive back here, just to go to this restaurant again. It's a little on the pricey side, but as far as I'm concerned, worth every penny.
Hands down the finest meal I have had in a long time. Everything was perfection. My friend had the carpaccio which she said was the best she's ever had and trust me this woman has eaten at the finest restaurants around BC. The Tuna was gorgeous and the lamb rack special was tender and again highest on the "We Loved It" scale. This spot is a gem!
One of the neighbourhood gems in Tsawassen, this Italian restaurant was where we celebrated two birthdays in one go. Staff was friendly and attentive, taking care to provide two small token desserts to celebrate the occasion. Food was very flavourful, with pasta that was cooked al dente, their meat done just perfectly and their seafood not rubbery due to overcooking. We'll definitely be back.
We had an amazing time here tonight for dinner. The inside is cozy and warm, the music was in good taste as well, the service was fantastic as well! I think she had to bring us 4 separate tubs of water and it was always timely. The food was also out of this world. My baked calamari was done perfectly, the Spaghetti Carpaccio was amazing and super flavorful and the dessert was great as well. This was an amazing experience overall!
10 stars to Roland and his team. Through the incredible challenges and adversity during the past 18 months Roland has stayed the course. Such a treat to see illuminate rocking it tonight. Illuminate salad is my go to, cioppino and house desert apple cake were all fresh and cooked to perfection.
I recently dined at Illuminaté with a group of 8 people and had an excellent experience. The service was top-notch and the food was absolutely delicious. The owners were outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter, who is a celiac, was accommodated. The ambiance of the restaurant was also fantastic, making for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Illuminaté to anyone, whether dining alone or with a large group. Five stars all around!
First time going here and loved it. The staff was super nice and the food was amazing. Was recommended from a friend and definitely wasn't let down. The sauce tasted exactly like my nonas and the dessert was light and made me want more. I've never felt so full after leaving a restaurant because I just wanted to eat more and more.Food: 5/5
Four of us went to dinner here last night for the first time. We all were very impressed with the servers, ambiance, music oldies and the food was fantastic. We all had wines, salads, entrees and desserts. The warm goat cheese salad was delicious, as well as everything we had. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back again with more friends to introduce them. I found it googling for a restaurant close by for all of us and sure happy I discovered it. Will be a new go-to place.
Always have a really great experience and meal here, one of my families favorite places to go. Food quality is amazing, service staff are incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. We keep coming back as often as we can.Food: 5/5
Really enjoy the vibe, staff and especially the food here. Good portions, great flavor profiles and interesting pairing from their full range menu. One tiny critique is that the wine menu could use an overhaul. Pics are half burrata starter, sablefish and tiramisu
