We tried to get a table at this restaurant for five people. We were told it would be a fifteen to twenty minute wait. We decided to wait and watched several parties of two, three and four get seated. When we saw an empty table of four and two together we asked if they could put the tables together-they were both empty and side by side. The young receptionist made the move to do so by speaking to one of the waiters. She was then overruled by the manager ( at least we think he was the manager) who said they had to save their tables of groups of fourfor 4 people and we would have to wait for one of two round tables where people were seated and looked like they were not moving anytime soon. We were quiet and respectful and did not create any scene or act rudely in any way. The manager then asked us to move away from the front of the restaurant. He was very rude; we were not in anyone's way and we felt extremely disrespected. We decided that although the restaurant had great reviews, we would not be giving them our business. We spoke to the receptionist who apologized and we told her it was not her fault but said that we had felt very disrespected by the manager who overheard our exchange and did not even offer an apology. One star for service. Not sure why a group of five could not be treated like any other group.

To begin, the ambience is wonderful. We ate here in August, when it's quite nice outside and you can sit on the Terrace and people watch while you eat. The mushroom risotto is to die for - it was some of the best we've ever had! Unfortunately, the spaghetti carbonara was not as good. It was pretty bland, and they don't make it the proper Italian way (i.e., without using cream. True Carbonara sauce is made just using egg yolks and Parmesan). We also had the salad aromatica, which was fine but not amazing. Overall, our dining experience was very good, and we would definitely come back.

Expensive for what it is but the location is great. Entrees start around $22 for pasta or risotto.

Great food, Great atmosphere, Awesome service. I proposed to my girlfriend waiter brought the ring out with desert they were very accommodating and there was valet parking awesome place highly recommend going there.
