I am a regular client since 2018 and enjoy this place. Service is nice & food is yumi. From all the selection they have, I only tried spicy steak my favorite and grilled chicken yumi too. My favorite salad is cabbage and brocolli. Not need for me to try anything else. I am very satisfied with this two choices : Most important thing, portion is big enough for 2 lunchs.
Best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten, and amazing salads. Always excited to go to Montreal to stop there for lunch.
I enjoy going there once in a while. They have great sandwiches and a very good service although I feel it might now always be so fresh. Last time I was there my quinoa salad tasted old. But that was my only bad experience in a pool of many good. Their Americano sandwich is *freaking* good, and know I want one...
AVOID- go to a better business that will apperciate customers. Went yesterday Dec 9th around 1145am. Lady at the cash was horribily rude and unhelpful. Placed two orders with salads and a desert, so I had about 3 boxes and two sandwiches. After I paid I asked if I could get a bag to put my order in as none was offered. Cashier rudely advised it was 10 cents. I had no cash and asked if I could pay debit. She refused, ignored me, and did not offer any help. She could have been nice about it or just given me a 10 cent bag instead of me carrying all those boxes. It wasnt even a matter of not wanting to pay the 10 cents as she never even offered it to me when I paid for my order. Giving a customer who just spent 40 dollars a 10 cent bag shouldn't be insane request. NEVER GOING BACK -perfer to give my money to a business that will be repectful and helpful especially during this time where businesses are struggling.
I almost went to eat there again over this weekend, and stopped myself after my memory kicked in. The food is really good, the servers are nice too, Italian lemonade very expensive for what it is, tastes like half lemon squeezed in a glass of whater... I would give 5 starts for the food but I only give 2 starts and will never go back out of principle after the scene I saw . About a month ago I saw the owner mistreating a costumer. All the interaction has happen in French . Here was the scene I watched from my table: a lady bought her food using credit card , the owner by mistake gave returned her credit card for the wrong client without verifying to whom the card belonged. The lady told him: “Sir, you just gave my card away”, his response was: “oh , yes” and moved on. The lady then told him next time would be a good idea to check the name written in the card before returning to the wrong customer. She was very polite. Then, she asked him For a paper to write her name and phone number in case the person notice being in possession of a card that was not hers. He was so angry, he started to screaming at the lady saying he would not waste his time with her , he was the owner and had no business With her . It was so much rudeness out of the blue , I could not believe my eyes! The lady even tried politely to explain to him she was not fighting, just asking for help. He kept screaming and being rude , his workers had to convince him to go inside before someone that was with her started making a movie from It’s phone . It was messy and unnecessary. All patrons inside felt uncomfortable , I myself took my food to eat outside after that.
Good place for a quick bite: it has a lot of salad options, perfectly acceptable sandwiches and soups. It wasn't very crowded, so you could get some work done here if you're looking for a quiet spot.
You will have to wait a little while if you order at lunchtime because it’s so popular with the locals, and it is worth it. Great place for lunch and coffee, I recommend the Louisiane Panini for the perfect mix of tasty and spicy!
This place has great sandwiches and salads but the coffee and desserts are just a great. I would suggest stopping by for a coffee and dessert oreo/muffin/brownie ...whichever just because its called "Il Panino" don't restrict yourself to the sandwiches!
Pretty solid paninis, their sides are pretty good too. They offer vegan options as well.
Delicious macchiato...one of the best this side of the Atlantic that I've had. Nice choice of sandwiches, salads and homemade desserts. Atmosphere is a let down but not miserable to say the least.
