Villa Bellezza is an absolutely incredible wedding venue! I LOVE photographing there! The ceremony site is large and makes for epic photos. The vineyard is stunning and conveniently located right next to where couples get ready. The staff is friendly and helpful! If you are looking for an Italy feeling wedding without leaving the Wisconsin/Minnesota area, I couldn't recommend Villa Bellezza more highly!!
Villa Bellezza is a perfect example of a beautiful, unique and wonderful spot to check out in Western Wisconsin. I'd heard about it for a while and finally made my way there - and so glad I did. The buildings and grounds are immaculate. They almost transport you from Wisconsin. The wine was perfectly flavorful and delicious. I ordered the garlic chicken pizza; and although I loved it, I have a feeling any food you order from here would be amazing. In the outer court I saw countless tables of couples, family and girls days, even a wedding- and I think this is a perfect spot for all of them.
We went to see the Christmas Market. Friendly place with friendly people! Had mulled wine that warmed us up. Tried their young wine, that was delicious. Met Cammie the alpaca. We will go back in warmer weather for sure! Highly recommend to check it out!
Our favorite place to visit when we are in the area. Beautiful and relaxing, nice vineyards for walks, great wine to taste and delicious food to eat - pizza, pasta, panini, salads and more. The courtyard is absolutely gorgeous, a little piece of Italy right here in Wisconsin. Take some delicious wine home and come back again.
Very excellent wine and wine tasting. Hayley or is Hailey? She was our taster and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Really walked us through a nice tasting. The wine tasting section is incredible and the walk in cellar at the bar is very nice! Wisconsin wine? Yes please!
The venue is beautiful. I enjoy the wines. So, I think it's a really cool place and have been there 3 times so far. My only downgrade is for the pizza. I think they should knock this out of the park being an Italian inspired place. While the taste is fine...the pizza's are rather smallish they're advertised as 11" and less than authentic for me. My mother being from Italy, and having been to a fair share of wood fired pizza places, I have an opinion. So Il Forno has these pizza's for around $17. I say charge $22-24 and serve something amazing...more authentic like is shown in the pic attached 14". Then I'd give 5 stars all day.
It's Christmas Market season Saturdays & Sundays in November and December! There's a nice little selection of vendors in the piazza and Great Hall, plus an extra food station in the Great Hall. Il Forno is also open for sit-down meals, but definitely make a reservation. Absolutely stunning location with delicious food and friendly, knowledgeable service. This is as close to Tuscany as you can get in the Midwest. The food was mouthwatering, authentic Italian served indoors or on the large courtyard patio. The wine tasting room is a very fun experience, 4 wines for $5 - you choose 3, and the sommelier chooses the 4th. Ask about the unique process for making ice wine! While this is high quality wine for the Midwest, it is not on par with Italian wine by any stretch of the imagination. There were some wines we enjoyed and ended up buying by the bottle, but others were just too acidic for our taste. Still, we definitely plan to be back. It's well worth a visit, and would also be a phenomenal location for special events. The property is rapidly expanding with several smaller buildings currently under construction.

Phenomenal spot! First wines I've had from the Midwest area that I found to be highly drinkable. Love La Crescent and Cotes de Pepinamongst others. The details that went into the piazza were extensive. The tastings are a good time with healthy pours, and the food is great too...we had the cheese plate highly recommend, 2 pizzas, a panini, and a salad over two separate visits. All tasty! Great spot, makes you feel like you're on a mini vacation!
Back in 2012, my husband and I visited Villa Bellezza while on vacation for our 10th wedding anniversary. We tried some wines and wanted to choose a special bottle to save for our 20th anniversary. The helpful staff suggested a bottle and we took it home to live in our wine rack for the next decade. Today, we pulled that bottle out to share for our 20th year together. We made it! The wine we chose back in 2012 was Banco 2011 Red Wine. It was worth the 10 year wait! The sweet grape is very forward, but as the wine sits on the tongue, the roasty oak comes through. There's something that lingers after swallowing...tannins, coffee? I'm no wine expert by any stretch, but I know when my taste buds are thrilled, and they were! This is an excellent, full-bodied wine, and it has aged well.
