All I can say is WOW.nThe food, the service, the atmosphere, All top tier. Other restaurants should take a page out of their book. My wife and I ordered the calamari to start which isn't your traditional calamari...it's so much better! We then ordered pasta dishes which was some of the best pasta we've ever had, followed by cheesecake for dessert. Unreal experience and all the staff were so genuinely nice and friendly.nDefinitely will be returning and would recommend to anyone wanting an amazing experience.
Me and my friend ordered a lot I forgot we would get free starter breads then we ordered too much! Cocktails with the rum one forgot the name was so good! And the Tiramisu omg, so delicious, I feel they use the real espresso instead of just the normal coffee liquid in the finger cookies! Love it! Sorry about my messy English but just wanna say the foods are amazing and servers are super nice! Lovely travel experience!
Had an amazing dinner at Il Terrazzo in Victoria. The restaurant had a lively, warm atmosphere, and our server Eric was fantastic — friendly, entertaining, and spot-on with his recommendation of a fruity, well-balanced Italian red wine.nnWe loved everything we ordered. The Funghi Arrosto was rich and flavourful, and the Cozze mussels came in a broth so good we finished every drop. For mains, the Anatra pizza was perfectly savoury, the Spaghetti Carbonara was indulgent and memorable, and the Trota Iridea di Mare was a standout — perfectly cooked steelhead with crispy skin and fresh, bright accompaniments.nnGreat food, great service, and a lively vibe. Wish we had room for desserts! We’ll definitely be back.
First of all the ambiance and the service is exceptional here. I celebrated my birthday here with my fiance. The complimentary foccacia and the olive tapenade was absolutely delicious. We ordered Caesar salad to start, the pulled pork canneloni and the spaghetti carbonara. Caesar salad tasted good, but just tasted average. The pasta dishes came in huge portions. The pulled pork canneloni tasted good in the first two bites, but it became kind of nauseating after awhile, as it tasted far too sweet with the bbq sauce, and along with the cream sauce, it was too rich, which caused my fiance to have stomach issues later in the evening. The spaghetti carbonara, the steak that it came with was of excellent quality, even when I ordered it well done. However, the spaghetti itself was far too salty. We also ordered two pannacottas for dessert, which was sickly sweet. The strawberry sauce tasted like the DQ strawberry topping, and the texture was gummy and pasty, with no hint of vanilla bean, and it all tasted one dimensional. It was by far the worst pannacotta that I have ever tasted. Will I visit again? Perhaps..., but there are far better authentic Italian restaurants in Vancouver.
Second time in Il Terazo and really happy with the food and service. Had my all time fave - frutti di mare and tiramisu. My friends had the spaghetti carbonara, linguini marco polo and linguini capesante. All chef's kiss good! Also appreciated how the owner Shelley is still welcoming and thanking the guests, adds a personal touch.
