Very unique and delicious ice cream, soft serve. I got the strawberry nut which was ube nut on top of the strawberry in the charcoal cone. I found the dessert to be just wonderful, light but tasty and filing. I would certainly recommend coming to check out this place and the signs and ambiance was cute.
Definitely worth it!! I had the charcoal coconut on the vanilla bean, soft ICE CREAM. I had it on the charcoal cone. It was Delicious! My favorite is the coconut. I really like the black colored ice cream and cone. Someone I use to work with, told me about iHalo, in 2018. I finally got to try it and will definitely be going back for more. It's a definite must try.
Totally different ice cream flavours than I had in the past. I tried Matcha nut from the Multi section. If you want to try some unique ice cream flavours than this is the place. They have only one scoop size large which is the reason for one less star.
If you are near down town Toronto. Soft-serve ice-cream from iHalo Krunch is my recommendation and can't be missed. The charcoal flavoured ice-cream is their signature that it is so special and hardly find in other stores. I am not a fan of coconut favour and this "black" ice-cream filled with charcoal with a hint of coconut is very delicious. I ordered the charcoal with strawberry ice-cream with charcoal cone. The cone worthed extra $1.5 as it matched with the ice-cream. For a total of under $10 spending on sweet treats in down town area is very reasonable price. The pink upright piano at the entrance is very eye catching and amazingly it is not just decoration and it is playable and in-tune. Great experience here for a family weekend after lunch.
Maybe it just a small ice cream store, but it was more than that. When I came here, there was having the long line for it. I think on my mind that! Here must be the best flavour ice cream place listings! Yahhhh it's true then! They was so good decor through multiples of simple things! And that's make here is special! Of course not only about the decoration! It also about the flavour! So good and memorable then Highly recommend! The best things deserve on waiting to have I think
Such a cute and bright soft serve ice cream shop! I love that you can try up to 3 different flavours. I had the taro, green tea, and vanilla. My favourite was actually the vanilla. Next time, I would try the strawberry and vanilla twist. They were very generous with the serving and I believe it was approximately $7, definately worth the price. The decor is really colourful and takes you back to the care bears era!!
Madagascar vanilla. Kept it simple. Best bang for your buck with $$/serving. Or maybe I'm just in an ice cream coma. It was good. Maybe the heat today was making me taste more icy ice cream then just ice cream. Curious about their yam flavour too.
I usually never leave reviews but felt the need to after paying $8+ for one of the worst ice creams I’ve ever had. Especially as it is “well-known” in Toronto, I felt the need to share pics of the ice cream I got which was extremely grainy. Not only was the texture really gross, the ice cream left a nasty residue in your mouth after almost like an oily, fatty mouth feel as if you just ate some lard. Really disappointing and do not recommend. There’s so many better alternatives in TO!!!
The ube flavour is delicious, definitely can’t pass on that. The strawberry is the typical artificial Kit Kat flavour. The matcha flavour and the cone itself were both good. Not crazy expensive but the portions are smaller than regular soft serve. The aesthetic of the place is great but the service not so much.
Aesthetically pleasing however taste wise it is below average. It is not a creamy or milky ice cream, more of an icy texture. The black ice colour and flavors make it unique however I'd stick to Bang Bang for better quality ice cream.
