IGA Knowlton

Even though it is a beautiful store inside, I felt that the prices were very high. Staff was not forthcoming even when I was the only person waiting at the deli counter, the service person was in a conversation for 5 minutes with 2 managers. They didn't care to see the line forming behind me.

The food is fine and there's lots of free samples, but some of the store policies are quite insulting. I saw a sign that said that you weren't allowed to have a backpack on while walking around my store, which I ignored because it's ridiculous. There's no way that I'm going to leave a backpack that contains things I absolutely can't afford to lose at a random service counter with people I don't know. If they have a theft problem then they should train their staff to be able to spot it, and as a young professional who's never in my life though of stealing, I find this sort of policy degrading.

I ate Wednesday night at IGA !!! They start removing "in special" tag at 6 pm... While the store is open 'till 9 PM... You better remember your weekly flyer in your head!!! :(
