Prabh Ni my top three faite places for groceries because it is so close to my apartment and the options are great. It has well organized aisles and I can find my international foods quickly. The frozen section is the best because I can get ready to eat meals that are safe for the microwave and get my meals in two minutes
Staff can be in a mood sometimes, but with good reason on the weekdays. They’ll often ask to inspect your bag if you enter during lunchtime if they profile you as a student which is valid but may tick some people off. Good for a block grocery store.
the product variety is decent and you can usually find some good local Quebec brands on the shelves, but the pricing is getting out of hand imo. a simple basket of basic essentials ends up costing wayyy more here compared to other major supermarket chains in the area
Nice spot to grab groceries. It's well laid out, clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and efficient. I found dragon fruit at a good price which is always a bonus!nnI liked their selection of to go options.
Another grocery store that sells organic raspberries that rot within 2 days of purchase. If grocers keep getting the prices up, then they should ensure quality. It's shameful really, as most people's wages don't keep up and they have to deprive themselves of other essentials to pay for grocery. This doesn't do anything to help cutting down food waste. If they don't throw the food themselves, then it doesn't exist, right???...if they were any clever, they could just freeze produce that will soon get bad and sell it for the same price. The expiry dates have been removed from packages to avoid food waste, but it's making things worse. Clients are going to pay the bill, so why care, right? It angers me.
