It was $7 admission for both my boyfriend and i with our triple A membership. Museum is pretty small, about what you would expect for the price. Cindy the admission staff was excellent and extremely helpful. When we arrived we mentioned to her that we were on a road trip, she said after we finish the museum to come back to see her. So we did, and she had an abundance of pamphlets and books for us on things to do in Idaho! (Man you idahoians know how to help out a neighbor!) 5/5

I wasn't sure what to expect from a potato museum but I was very pleasantly surprised. The curators are clearly passionate about the potato industry and I was highly impressed with their attention to detail, showing the process of potato farming from thousands of years ago all the way up to how McDonald's french fries are made. Great gift shop, friendly staff, and the potato restraint at the end has great mashed potatoes and french fries to enjoy. Admission is cheap so if you're in the area there's no reason not to check it out!

It was great. First greetings from the employee were super friendly. Cost to get in was very reasonable, we even got a free box of dehydrated hashed browns. The museum had great potato farming implements and artifacts. Videos were fun and informative. And at the end of the tour was a cute little cafe that only served potato related meals. Yes, we ate, and it was delicious, we had a baked potato with sausage gravy. Yummy

I stopped here because I love potatoes. It was very informative and had a lot of information squeezed into one small building. It was a great place to visit.

If you want to know about how the "Potato" impacts our society in America, then this is the place to go. Senior and military discounts on tickets, very affordable. However, you need to read beyond the infographics. The cafe was closed when we visited and there is a short video on how the Potato is harvested and stored. Educational and I have the video on my YouTube channel. Interestingly, that this museum is located in the small town of Blackfoot, visit and you will learn why.
