This was my first experience eating at a noodle place and it was great. The restaurant is very clean and I felt they did a good job sanitizing the tables prior to eating and as part of the clean up. The food was very good, you must try the bun appetizers they are something new for me also. I cant wait to go back and have one of the chicken and pork. The fried dumplings are another great choice, everything looked good. I love a beer once in awhile with my food, and the beer prices are also very reasonable. I would go here if it was closer to home and just have a beer at the bar. Cant wait to go back when in that part of town. The wait staff was on the mark and they well deserved a good tip.
This place serves pretty good ramen. Went in about half hour after they opened. Service was nice, but you know they’re short staffed, so no problem to wait. Had a hearty bowl of the shredded char siu ramen, which said it was spicy, but definitely a mild or less even. Still, the broth was very good, noodles and toppings were perfect. Appetizers were a little less appealing, but flavor was all there. I’d come back again for a quick bite.
Came here for lunch and it was excellent. The best part? The menu variety is great. There wasn’t anything we ordered that we didn’t like. I thoroughly enjoyed my stir fry ramen chicken. I also ordered a fried rice and we each got different flavored Japanese sodas and they were so delicious! We ended our meal with mango mochi and I wish we had ordered more it was that tasty. Our server was super kind too and the restaurant itself was clean. The worst part? I can’t complain really. The only thing I can think of is that the menu says they only have a few Japanese soda flavors but our server told us there were so many more. We wish we knew this at the beginning so we could have picked different flavors but it was still good.
We enjoyed our visit. I was disappointed with the takoyaki. We usually go to the location on Nicolette and the presentation is amazing. Here they used paper crumbs to to top the takoyaki and it didn't have the movement and visual wow we are used to. I brought some first timers and talked it up but it was a big disappointment. Food was so good though.
Such a great little spot. The location is fantastic. The food is phenomenal! The ramen is amazing with broth or stir fried. The donburi is also incredible as is the chicken kara-age and harumaki. I had my first experience trying mochi ice cream too! This will be a spot I frequent.Recommended dishesMochi Ice Cream, Stir Fry Ramen, Chicken Kara-Age, Beef Ramen
The environment is quiet and elegant, the artistic delicacy of the excellent chef, and the attentiveness of the staff, The noodle soup can be adjusted according to your own taste. Today I am eating vegetable fried noodles, which is excellent love and happy
We got the fried chicken and pork belly steam buns for an app and then the pork belly ramen and some fried rice. It was all really good! Honestly I was surprised by the quality considering the price point, highly recommend for an inexpensive but delicious meal!
I didn’t have a good experience at the one MG so I decided to try the one in Roseville and again it was a failed. Walked in and got seated right away, waited about 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that I was ready to order with my menu closed and playing on my phone. They came by and took our order and it was another 25 minutes before the food came, it did indeed come after 25 minutes but it was not my order. I told the waitress and she brought it back and then about 10 minutes later the correct order came out. I also ordered some takoyaki but they didn’t bring those out til almost after I got done eating my noodles so it became more of a dessert than appetizer. Service was a bit slow and they didn’t seem organized at all. Got the wrong order and appetizer at the end of my meal. I saw a door dash guy come in at the same time I placed my food order and keep in mind I waited about 30 mins before my correct order came out, I ate and left and the door dash guy was still there waiting for the order. Again, food was exceptional but service wasn't good at all.
***editing to change from 3 down to 1 stars after us suffering from what we believe to be food poisoning. The last 3hrs have been just horrible! Decor was nice, good atmosphere. We were seated right away and order was taken in a relatively decent amt of time. We ordered takoyaki octopus balls to start and they were given to the wrong table. They tried to give us someone else's spring/egg rolls. When we told them it was the wrong order, they said they'd make a new order. Our entrees came 1st, but they gave our daughter the wrong food that was meant for another table. They finally brought out her correct food, and then the takoyaki balls came out. We've had them before and love them, but these were VERY disappointing. 1 small piece of octopus inside and the "dough" inside was raw. We were starving so we just ate them...hoping that raw dough doesn't come to haunt us! Highly unlikely we will return.
It's hard to find good Ramen places in Minnesota, so I was incredibly excited to try this Ramen. My husband and I both got the number one selling pork ramen. I found the pork to be kind of dry and the broth was not nearly as flavorful as I was hoping for. You will have to be rolled out of here though because the portions are big and they do not skimp on the noodles. We also had tried the octopus appetizer and were a little disappointed that the deep-fried ball had one tiny piece of octopus in a sea of deep fried breading. There are better Ramen places out there but this one has plenty of seating and is relatively fast so I wouldn't be opposed to returning.
