Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Very entertaining for family, business meetings or even dates if you are sitting Hibachi side. Drinks are always made to perfection and a little stiff. Some of the staff speak broken english so listen carefully or ask to be repeated to or shown on the menu. Food is amazing, aromas are intoxicating while being prepared to your liking right in front of a small captive audience. Don't be scared to speak up and ask for more seasoning or garlic which is always gladly added to whatever dish or combo you choose. The chef will see how good a catch you can be while testing his accurate cooking spatulas. Be prepared to open wide and close your eyes. Oh and if Saki is being shared by the chef at your hibachi, open wide and enjoy the ride. They usually will give you as much as you can handle. Loved Ichiban and will continue to patronize for years to come. What a gem of an establishment.

I Went with a group of friends and we ordered a roll of sushi or two each and shared. Delicious. Not disappointed by food of drinks.

Had hibachi there last night and though the performance was less interesting than some other places I've been the food was exceptional. Best hibachi steak I've ever had, shrimp was excellent, scallops were cooked perfectly, salmon was delicious. Pretty good sushi typically too, the best I've found locally, though if you're willing to travel 30+ minutes there is better to be had. Drinks were STIFF ... My mai tai was practically gasoline, which was fine by me! Will definitely be back for hibachi and sushi.
