We went to get a customized jersey and we are very happy with what we got! Sales process is easy, the sales consultant offered multiple products and never stopped until they got sure we had a right jersey! The process of customizing the jersey was easy and fun. It took about 30 minutes to have the jersey done, the way we like it! We definitely recommend this shop to get your own Oilers jersey! Dreams come true!
Nice time a the Triumph/ April Wine concert at Rogers place last night! Only down side is the ridiculously priced refreshments.
I love the building and its layout, however, I do not love the prices for everything.nnDefinitely eat before attending an event here or you'll end up paying $40 per person for a fast food meal sandwich, fries and drink.nnAlso, arrive early to get parking close to the arena or in a covered parkade.
I remember the days of Rexall. Every arena has its own vibe and some of that old vibe is embedded in Rogers Arena like the Gretzky statue and memorabelia since 80s championship runs. Anyway, Ice District is home to Rogers Arena and the Edmonton Oilers. There are great amenities like the community arena, Casino, etc.but make sure to bring enough cash. Rogers Place in Edmonton is considered one of the least affordable arenas in the NHL, ranking 26th out of 32. Despite the high costs, the arena is considered a premier venue.nnMost notable as of late, OEG Sports & Entertainment has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Govt of AB and City to help develop an Event Park and public realm space fully connected to Rogers Place in Edmonton’s ICE District. This comes after news of ICE District Phase I acrrues $3.2 billion in funds towards economic impact for the city – becoming a key driver of revitalization in the area. With McDavid's continued passion and goal to win a championship, it's a grwat place to be during the hockey season.nnOh and concerts are great too! Ive seen a few and missed a few. Some notables: Celine Dion, Ed Sheeran, Garth Brooks, and The Weeknd, Dave Chappelle, Diljit, Karan Aujla, etc.
Definitely set up for cold winters. The walkways are marked but you can get confused. Parking for special events is around 30 Canadian dollars. They do not issue paper tickets. It is all done from your phone and you need to pay within 15 minutes of entering the facility.nThey do have restaurants and hotels connected to the parking.nRecommend do your homework before coming down.
