The road test process itself was okay, but my experience with the examiner was disappointing. She was unfriendly and her behavior came across as biased toward brown people, which made the test feel uncomfortable and unfair. ICBC should ensure all examiners treat applicants with respect and without prejudice.
i was having my road test yesterday but i had a disappointing experience with ICBC road test examiner. i was failed despite not being told of any clear or significant mistakes during the test. The examiner’s feedback was vague and did not match how the drive actually went, which felt unfair and discouraging. A road test should be evaluated objectively and transparently, and that was not my experience.ICBC needs to improve consistency and communication in their examinations.
I attended a scheduled road test at the Chilliwack ICBC location but was unable to proceed because the borrowed vehicle I arrived in had front window tint that did not meet road test requirements. I understand the rule and respect the decision; however, the situation was frustrating because the same vehicle had reportedly been accepted for previous tests, which created confusion about compliance expectations.nnI had already arranged childcare, insurance coverage, and practice time leading up to the appointment, so losing the booking resulted in unnecessary cost and inconvenience. Clearer advance reminders about vehicle requirements and more consistent enforcement between examiners would help applicants avoid similar situations in the future.
