I had a very disappointing experience with ICBC in Kelowna regarding my knowledge test. I visited yesterday with an appointment. As a resident of Kelowna for the past two years and a student here, I wanted to add my previous driving experience to my BC Class 5 license. However, one of your employees informed me that I needed to submit my previous license first, and only after approval would I be able to take the knowledge test.nnI find it unfair to require this before allowing someone to take the knowledge test, especially since the decision to add prior experience should be left to the individual after passing the test. Many of my friends who took their knowledge tests were asked to submit their previous licenses upon knowledge test or until their road tests.nnOne of your female employees seemed unwilling to listen to my concerns when I tried to ask her for clarification. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
I had my Class 5 road test today, and Maryanne was my examiner. Her behavior was exemplary, She was incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable throughout the test. Thanks to her, I passed my exam without making a single mistake. I must say, she has a wonderfully pleasant nature.
Book an early appointment and be amazed at a crown monopoly providing efficient and effective services. Book it later in the morning or day and you may not be as satisfied.
Unfortunately didn't have a great or a good experience, when I booked for a driver's knowledge test, it was confirmed and mentioned to bring only two pieces of ID with me. Apparently when I reached there they asked me for my work permit too, this should be mentioned on the confirmation prior hand before ruining the whole day of the person who specifically took an off to take the testnnP.s.checked on your website and it says it's either the BCID or Work permit as 1st type of ID required and secondary is a passport or bank card...you cannot justify the mistake
This guy working as the supervisor I think? at ICBC Kelowna tried to convince me that ICBC isn’t government-owned. Like, buddy, it’s literally the Crown’s side hustle!nnAnyway, I’m giving ICBC Kelowna 2 stars because they’ve got some comedians on staff!
