We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.nnA special shout-out goes to Jahnvi at the front desk, who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. As the first point of contact for guests, the front desk sets the tone for the entire hotel experience, and Jahnvi exemplified hospitality at its finest. Her warm demeanor, professionalism, and willingness to assist created a fantastic first impression—not only of the hotel but also of its management and service culture.nnThe rest of our stay lived up to that excellent welcome. We truly appreciated the friendly atmosphere and attentive service throughout the property. We would happily stay here again and recommend the Hyatt Regency Toronto to anyone visiting the city.
Excellent location. Stayed in a renovated Deluxe City View Suite, very roomy. Quiet room, didn't get too much street noise up on 15th floor.nBathroom was a little small but very bright and clean.nHotel obviously needs some more renovations, but perfect for my stay.nThe winning thing here is staff. Zain was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
This hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. We used the underground parking, which was $40 with in-and-out privileges. While convenient, I definitely miss the days when parking was included in the stay!nnThe staff were very pleasant. Akshat checked us in and was especially helpful, letting us know to reach out if we needed anything. The front desk mentioned that our room was in one of the newly renovated sections, and it was indeed very clean and modern.nnThat said, the room was smaller than an average hotel room. We booked a corner room expecting a bit more space, but it was actually quite small, so I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for that upgrade. The bathroom was also very compact. We were surprised to find a bathtub instead of a stand-up shower in a newly renovated room. The sink was tiny with very limited counter space for toiletries.nnOverall, the price was reasonable, and the lobby and common areas were clean and welcoming. A good place to stay for the location and value.
Good location, room was decent. Was told the room was recently renovated but based on the sliding door to the bathroom, and the bathroom itself I'm not so sure. I also would have stayed longer in this location but I tried calling a week before my arrival for a couple days and was always put through to the manager's office. I left messages and my calls were never returned.
I am deeply disappointed by the treatment my husband received while dropping off a guest at this property. After completing a long ride, he politely asked to use the restroom. The employee at the entrance, identified as Katrji, refused the request and treated him in a manner that appeared disrespectful and unwelcoming.nAs a transportation worker who was actively serving a guest of the hotel, my husband expected to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. Instead, he was made to feel unwelcome and singled out. The interaction left him with the impression that he was being treated differently because of his ethnic background, which was both upsetting and concerning.nWhen my husband stated that he intended to file a complaint regarding the incident, Katrji responded, “Make a good complaint of it.” Such a dismissive response is highly unprofessional and reflects poorly on the standards of customer service and hospitality that guests and service providers should expect.nHotels rely on drivers, taxi operators, and rideshare workers to bring guests to their properties. These workers deserve to be treated with the same respect and dignity afforded to everyone else. I hope management investigates this incident seriously and takes appropriate steps to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their background, are treated fairly and respectfully.
