My wife and I stayed here for a second time. While the rooms themselves are a little bit dated not horribly , they are clean and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable which to me is the most important thing. We tried some appy,s and were pleasantly surprised. The food came out hot and was delicious as well try the P&S flatbread . The breakfast in the morning was again very good as well. Staff are pleasant to deal with. We will come again
I’m gonna start by saying this : the cleanliness in this hotel is a 0/10. When I first checked in, there were stains on my sheets. I’ve brought this up to the hotel staff and they said the stains just don’t come off but the sheets are clean. I ended up changing rooms.. alright no problem.nNext morning, I got to get breakfast and noticed ALL the cups look dirty … at first I thought it was the design but I ended up scratching the insides of the cups and the dirt would come right off… I explained it to the staff and I was told “the cups are designed like that”.. I had showed them if u scratch the insides, it will come right off and they just brushed it off… Every other day after that, the cups stayed looking like that , no change at all. I also noticed the plates that are suppose to be clean, were in fact, dirty as well.nnNow let me get to the staffs attitude…nSunita might be the WORSE employee at that hotel. I paid the deposit with a debit card 500$ refundable charge after checkout. When I was collecting my deposit back, I ended up only getting 493$ back and I asked why because I didn’t charge anything to my room .. and even if I wanted to , they can’t charge anything to your room if you do a debit card deposit. Sunita’s answer was “i don’t know”. I asked if anyone else is working here and she had told me no but I’ve seen many other staffs…nNow let’s move forward. Sunita had the NASTIEST attitude, she kept giving my friend and I back handed comments as well. When it came to booking two rooms, I had booked on Expedia and payed everything online my debit card was charged the full amount. Sunita had told me I need to pay an extra 34$ because the rate isn’t the same at the hotel. That makes absolutely no sense ! I’ve booked hotels many times, the rate you pay online will be the final price. Why did I have to pay an extra 34$ ? She wouldn’t give me an answer and she didn’t want to call in the manager when I had asked her to.nnMoving on….nOne night , I was checking out the gym area and noticed pool area was open so I had decided to hop in the hot tub .. I did not notice the sign that says the pool area is closed past 10pm. But either way, why is the door not locked ? Anyways, I was in that area for quite some time and this housekeeping lady walked in and started yelling at me from the top of her lungs telling me “WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE THIS AREA IS CLOSED” I was like “what do you mean the door is open” she had told me in these exact words “if you were competent enough , you would have been able to read the sign that says it closes at 10”.nDO NOT BOOK THS HOTEL
My husband and I have always loved this hotel. We always take our mini French bulldog with us and she is extremely well behaved and friendly. Most of her training happened in hotels as we travel a lot. She knows the rules, always stays by our sides. She doesn’t bark. To her, home is wherever her family is. With the amount we have supported this hotel…I am talking THOUSANDS of dollars, you would think that the environment would be more welcoming. The front of house staff are always incredible. But imagine my surprise when my husband and I take our dog out and two housekeepers are holding onto the wall in fear. She is SO well behaved and like 20 pounds. That was so unprofessional especially for pet fee of $105/night. If you’re not dog friendly, just say so. If the organization plans on staying pet friendly, I recommend making sure that the staff are able to put their own biases aside. We were in room 204 this past Friday. I don’t know if we will return again which is sad because we always enjoyed our stay here but I refuse to put her in a kennel as she is a part of our family. We will miss the front of house staff and the breakfast.nnMy husband would like to add, there needs to be more noise control as we listened to kids stomping through the room near us and hallway…screaming snd yelling.
This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I stayed here for two weeks on a business trip, and although the hotel itself looks fine and the rooms are okay, the management and overall service quality were extremely disappointing.nnI had an important package delivered to the hotel during my first week. I checked with the front desk three different times to see if it had arrived. Every time they said, “no, we haven’t received anything.” A full week later—only when I asked again in front of their manager—they suddenly “found” the package and brought it to me. The tracking clearly showed it had been delivered seven days earlier. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially from a brand like Hyatt.nnAnother unpleasant surprise was seeing hotel staff walking into the pool area with dirty shoes, just to show the facility to someone. That’s completely unhygienic and unprofessional.nnBreakfast was mediocre at best. Not terrible, but far below Hyatt standards. Even simple details were neglected—for example, the lids on the hot food trays didn’t even fit properly. Some were smaller than the containers and fell inside the food, which looked careless and unsanitary.nOn October 30th, during breakfast, I also witnessed a staff member opening a sauce packet with their own teeth before placing it out for guests. That was shocking to see and completely unacceptable in terms of hygiene.nnThe only recreational facilities here are the pool and jacuzzi, but the chlorine smell was extremely strong—so strong it made the air uncomfortable to breathe. I hope I was just sensitive to it, but I overheard a couple of other guests saying the same thing.nnOn the positive side, the housekeeping and room service teams did a great job. My room was cleaned properly and quickly every day, and whenever I requested something, it was handled right away. Their professionalism was the only good part of my stay.nnStill, despite that, the poor management, lack of attention to guests, and repeated mistakes by the reception staff made my experience very frustrating.nnOverall, I wouldn’t say the hotel itself or its facilities are worse than others, but given the series of incidents and unprofessional behavior I witnessed, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
I’ve stayed here a couple of times. During my first stay, I had an issue with one of my reservations, but management went above and beyond to resolve it and even offered compensation without being asked. Overall, it’s a nice property, a good value for the price, and the staff is friendly.
