Hy-Vee

5 star. Cashier was nice, well at least one of them anyways. HYVEE NEEDS 12 PACK GOOD CHOICE SODA DRINKS. Or well i didnt see any. Im a broke college kid i cant afford the branded stuff. Also would not recommend microwaved mac and cheese theres like nothing in there. Like. Cooking boxes of it is worth the time and effort in this case. And its cheaper.

The employees are always friendly and helpful. I really love coming to this grocery store. I appreciate that they are always giving away freebies to kids and they seem to care about the community. The Asian food from the deli is delicious!

We don't shop here very often as it isn't as close as it once was since we moved. However, we still have the same doctors and dentists so when we are in town we usually stop for a donut treat after an appt. Today was great because the donuts were full and freshly stocked. The deli counter lady was nice when I grabbed a pound of meat. I usually don't have a problem finding what is needed. When a sale is happening sometimes you may not find it on the shelf, however, they give out and honor rain checks. The floral shop and customer service desk has always been friendly and helpful as well. The store is kept clean. The parking lot is kind of a pain to get in and out of especially when it is super busy.

A 5 star review, my bother and sister n law are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today! They are in 2 separate nursing homes in Watertown! I am in Canada, I ordered a cake and cupcakes to be shared in each of their nursing homes! My nephew picked everything up and made shared all was shared! A sad situation was turned into a celebration for both of them! Thank you Hy Vee bakery!

We stopped at the hyvee in Watertown for lunch, waited 20 minutes for Chinese didn’t mind waiting as the lady in front of us ordered a lot. The staff was crabby and rude, the food was not good. One of the things of chicken we ordered tasted rotten. We forgot to get cups for drinks so I went back and waited at the counter for like 5 minutes before I finally said “excuse me” very politely trying to get someone’s attention. The guy looked at me and then pretended like he didn’t hear me. So I waited another couple minutes then I said “excuse me can we get someone to help us please?” The guy said “yeah hold on” then turned to the girl next to him telling her to come help us and she yelled from by the sink “what do you need?” I said “we forgot cups for our drinks so I’d like to buy some” and she didn’t say another word to me after that besides the total of our cups. All of the tables to eat at had food on them and were very dirty, the food was bad, the service was bad. I don’t usually complain but this was one experience that you felt sick to your stomach after. If you’re gonna eat at a hyvee, I suggest brookings. Their staff is friendly, food is good, and the eating area is clean.nnUpdate: Andy the store manager was very kind and helpful. He made it clear that he is not okay with the way things went down and is going to do his best to resolve things in that department. He also reimbursed us for everything, I told him he didn’t need to do that, and he said he felt that he absolutely did need to do that. Manager service was 10/10. I fully understand that it was not him or the store as a whole; at fault, sometimes staff doesn’t do things the way they’re supposed to. Andy seems to be just as upset as we were, very thankful for his customer service.
